I unexpectedly spent the entire time at home due to my grandmother's poor health. However, it did give me a chance to get away from everything, including the internet for the most part. So after about 3 weeks, I've returned from the abyss. With a new year comes the beginning of another semester for those of us in college. My spring semester starts Monday. So bleh for classes. </span><o:p>/o:p

<span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Today marks the end of the clan competition, Sword and Trident, which has been organized by the very capable Proconsul, Telona. Send in those last minute submissions by <!--StartFragment -->11:59pm EST today. </span><o:p>/o:p

<span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Krath Rite of Supremacy</span><o:p>/o:p
<span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">For those among you who just can't seem to write enough, you're in luck, the Krath Rite of Supremacy started yesterday. There are 4 events in the first chapter including: fiction, ACC, a run-on, and a crossword. All the events, with the exception of the run-on, are due on January 21. Anshar already sent an email to the clan detailing the information which is also included on the site. We have some very talented writers in the clan, so its time to strut your stuff. </span><o:p>/o:p

<span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">As you are already aware, Tarentum was crowned the First Clan of the Sith in the last Sith War. Now think, what a treat it would be to dominate the Krath Rite of Supremacy and be named First Clan of the Krath as well. As per usual, excellent participation and effort in the Krath RoS will be kindly rewarded by the Clan Summit. </span><o:p>/o:p

<span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">No, its not a new diet. Instead, the ambitious Knight has undertaken a challenge from yours truly. In a conversation with a few others on IRC, Merlance started that he thought it was possible to achieve 100 victories within a single month, or at least he could. So, I challenged him to put is money where is mouth is and do it. Currently, I believe he has about 80 wins to go. So be sure to beat Merlance a few times and help make this more difficult for him :P</span><o:p>/o:p

<span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Clan Tarentum had an impressive 8 out of 23 members q<!--StartFragment -->ualify for the Sunday. That's about 1/3 of all the q<!--StartFragment -->ualifiers! Props to Welshman, Ma'ar-Tyrius (Smoke), Merlance, Pyralis, Windos, Shimas, <st1:place w:st="on">Vardar/st1:place and Zekk on q<!--StartFragment -->ualifying for this weeks tournament. Currently, <!--StartFragment -->Clan Tarentum has accumulated 550 Points.</span>
