The year of 2004 seems to have passed so quickly. It is hard to believe that only 2 months that I was just PCON of this Clan. Only 2 months ago was the Clan website out dated and in much need of a tune up. Only 2 months ago was the Advancement Guide in need of a good fixing. Only 2 months ago that this Clan did not have a Master/Student Program running. And only 2 months ago were Xhedias and Warhunter AED's of their Houses.

  Although 2 months may not seem long, and definitely not that far ago, but 
  this Clan has grown stronger and better over the last 2 months. This is 
  what I see as a great achievement. It would not have happened if the 
  active members of this Clan were not a motivation for our work to make 
  Clan Satal Keto a better Clan. All the work we, the leaders of this Clan 
  and Houses, do our duty to serve you as best as we can. You, the active 
  members, are what make a Clan whole. Without you all sitting there with 
  eager eyes of anticipation of what is around the corner, I doubt this Clan 
  would be at the point it is now.   

  With the victory in the Murder Mystery League '04 and the individual 
  members of this Clan who placed 1st and 2nd in a 4-way Clan event, this 
  Clan is shaping up to be better and better.  

  So before I go on with my weekly announcements, I would like to wish that 
  this year of 2005 to bring us ever better things and that our Clan can 
  rise to the top of the Brotherhood chain once more. It is a fresh new 
  year, with a future yet to be played. Let us all take hold and own this 
  year! >:D

I didn't do a report last week because I was busy with New Years stuff, so this week will have stuff from last week as well. I'll start with the previous week at the top, and the most recent announcements at the bottom. Apologies if it's a long read.

Congratulations to Warhunter on his promotion to Sith Warrior! A well deserved promotion indeed! Warhunter has worked hard for Kirleta, especially without a planted AED for a long period of time. His creation of the new Kirleta website is great. His plans for competitions both for House and Clan are good, and show much initiative. Warhunter's overall leadership abilities have brought him this promotion to Sith Warrior. Congratulations once again on his promotion.

A few members left us over the past two weeks. This is something we don't like to see. Unfortunately, real life constraints meant they were forced to go Rogue. It is understandable when Real Life things come up that people do have to take time off. We just hope that when RL things settle down that the member will rejoin this Clan once more :)

  On a flip side, we have gained a few more Apprentices. This is good as we 
  get fresh faces who are ready for action! :)

Congratulations goes to our newest lightsaber wielding Dark Jedi Knight, Zadious! His hard work over the two months with competitions, MP nights, submitting ideas for competitions and his role as Battleteam leader have earned him this promotion. Now he can wildly swing his lightsaber around. Watch out! Before your head gets sliced off! >:P

Krath Right of Supremacy Event has begun! This is an event for ALL 3 Orders; Sith, Obelisk and Krath. All the sub-events of this Major DB event will be writing. Such as; Fiction, Poetry, Run-On, Crosswords, and Antei Combat Centre. There will be 3 chapters to this whole event. Currently the 1st Chapter is running.

  I do hope that EVERYONE will have a go. Doesn't matter if you're not good 
  at writing fictions, just have a go. It doesn't hurt to try, and you won't 
  get beaten up if you fail. As long as your participate, that's a good 
  thing! It goes toward your future promotions! And if you participate in 
  whole Clan events such as the Run-On and Crossword, you have the chance of 
  winning a medal if the Clan submission comes in the top 3 places. So even 
  if you did a lousy job and other members did more than you in the whole 
  Clan sub-event, if the submission places top 3 you still get a medal for 
  taking part! Just lending a hand is all you need to do!   

  A bridge can be built quicker when there are more than two hands.

I would like to take a short moment to explain to members about who to contact if you need help. If you require assistance on anything, the best person to ask is your direct superior. Ever wonder who that person is who keeps emailing you as calls themselves a Quaestor? Well that is your House Leader! They can help you out with just about any question! Ever get emails from some called an Aedile? Well that's the House Executive Officer! They can also help you out. Ever get emails from someone who says they are your Tetrarch, Commander or Sergeant? Well they are your Battleteam Leaders! You can ask them for help too! Ever wonder what a Proconsul is? That's an Executive Officer of the Clan! They can help out a lot too! Ever wonder who i am? I am the Consul! I am the Clan leader, I can help you out too!

  **DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP**. Don't be afraid to ask questions 
  over the Mailing List either. You'll find that a few people will be happy 
  to respond to your queries.   

  If you don't ask, you'll never know!

I do hope everyone enjoyed their New Years celebration. I got a New Year's sun burn, so yay for me! :P I cleaned out my inbox today. I had like 400+ emails stored up, half of them from like 6 months ago. I now have about 78 emails that are important or not old, so that means I had a lot of junk stored in my inbox :P

  Well now that all this writing is over, I think I'm gonna soak my fingers 
  in ice water.
