Jonaleth stood looking out over the icey wastes of Byfrost, the glass of the window all that stood between him and a cold as chilling as the depths of space. His tall, black robed form was outlined in shilouette against the brilliant white of snow beyond, but became lost as one looked higher, to the eternally black sky and its myriad stars.

Hands clasped behind his back, angular, predatory face impassive, the Proconsul looked towards the distant sun and the planets that held the people of Clan Exar Kun, and began to dictate his report for this past week into the computer at his desk...

In line with Mav, Jac and Tron's suggestions, Im going to stick to the report format I used last week. For everyone who makes out a report (CON, PCON, QUA, AED, BTL), their suggestion was very simple but also very important: Forget the old style, military-esque reports of the EH, and make your reports instead about news, info and whats available to be done! So, with that in mind, here we go!

Dark Council Reshuffle

So, first line of news. You may or may not have noticed theres been a restructure of the DC lately, basically flattening it out to make it more understandable. The title of advisor to the DC has been removed, and they along with order leaders are now part of the main body of the DC, but are all equal. The DGM is above the main body, and level with the Justicar. Slightly below the Justicar and above the main body are the Right and Left Hands of Justice, and above all of them is the Grand Master.

The Emissary, leader of the Assembly of Consuls, is now in charge of the Consuls and acts as their leader, and also holds a DC position. Praetors and Magistrates remains the same.

Envoy's and Promotion Guidelines

Spears, Knight Commander of the Envoys, is in the process of clarifying and reorganising the Envoy structure. All Envoys, whilst remaining part of their House and Clan, will be responsible only to him in the function of their duties, and no longer to the Clan leaders. When leaders change over, a good Envoy will remain, whilst a bad Envoy will be removed even if the leaders dont want them to be. Each Clan will now have a Clan Envoy and an Envoy for each House. Whilst Im not clear on their specific duties, I am led to believe that Clan Envoys will welcome each new member to get them started and tell them where to go, and the House Envoys will then e responsible for seeing them up the ranks until they reach the point where they enter the Master-Student program.

Beyond that, Khalin has hopefully created promotion guidelines and sent them to the MAA office, so you should be able to see them there almost immediately.

Clan News

A very,.very good week for activity this week. Lots of message board posts, IRC presence and SA courses being passed. Indeed, very impressive overall. With the new suggestion put out about reports, the Clan will now review monthly for promotions and medals, as appropriate, and this is being carried out by Khalin at the moment.

The Kunar Blades

Amongst you today are some excellent individuals, and of these ones, the Clan Summit, Khalin and I, have selected this month the two of the greatest, one from each House. It is these people who have shone in activity, have been models of Dark Jedi and Exar Kun's children, and will be recognised now as the greatest of their number. You Chosen Ones, will have the honour of becoming the Blades of Kun for Febuary, and for this month, you will reside with Khalin and myself on Byfrost, to serve as our personal protectors and aides, with all the priviledges thereof. The Byss Kunar Blade (BKB) will protect myself, the Ziost Kunar Blade (ZKB) will protect Khalin, and you may add your title as part of your ID line.

There is one amongst you who, whilst not a True Heir, embodies the meaning of what it is to be a child of Kun.
