Morning All,

I hope everyone’s had a great week. I have been quite impressed by this House in the RoS events. It can always be better so I encourage everyone to post in the Runon or try some of the other events that opened today. Remember, activity will be rewarded well, especially for those newer members. This is your opportunity to do something for the House and Clan and in turn do things for yourself, everyone wins.

With that said I wanted to get to the business of my report. First, I would like to officially recognize and welcome into our House APP Cathy Jade. HAD is a great place to be and we’re glad you chose us. Currently, we are undergoing some changes so feel free to talk to me by email or AIM if you have any questions, problems or concerns. We look forward to having you as a member.

Next, the results of the AWOL check. I know I am still accepting responses until tomorrow night but almost everyone responded (at least everyone I expected to respond). So far the following people have not contacted me: Issard Jokaat, Scarface, Icarus, Menak Dorma, Ian Da’Ran, and Buzzpoom1. If you know these people in real life or see them online encourage them to contact me soon, otherwise they will be removed. It may just be a change of email so they don’t get the messages but I still have to drop them if they don’t respond.

Anyway, it appears to me that Issard Jokaat will not be responding to the AWOL check as I have also sent him like four personal emails in the last few months. With that action he has removed himself from the office of Oathmaster and of Tetrarch. This does not put the House in a good situation. We have two Phyles, an Oathmaster and an Aedile position that need to be filled. After talking with some people I have decided to open applications for all these positions up to the House/Clan first then if need be the brotherhood at large (maybe we can avoid this). We must admit that HAD is not a very active House, we have few competitions and little activity in major events. The majority of the awards are held by a select few. These are things that the next summit will need to change.

After this report I will send out another email listing what the requirements are for each position but I want to give a general idea here. The Aedile will be my right hand man by welcoming new members into the House. They need to try and compete in most major activities and should attempt to run a few competitions in the down time. Like all officers they should submit bi-weekly reports to the House, about anything pertaining to the House and Clan.

The Rollmaster will begin working on some House and Clan History projects. I would also like to see them do work on the website (maintain it if possible) and keep track of House lists like whose been active or not and who deserves a promotion. This would also be given in a bi-weekly report.

The Tetrarch of the Dragon Guard Phyle can be any member that feels they are ready for a little responsibility. They will be in charge of the higher ranking members of the House and as such should be well experienced in the DB.

Finally, the Tetrarch of Ebon Cloak will be responsible for all members under the rank of Guardian. They will oversee the M/S program and the training of the new recruits (they may concurrently hold another position in the summit). They should have a lot of experience in the DB and should be willing to pass it on to others.

Like I said more detailed descriptions will follow. If interested email me within the week (by the 30th) with your application. It should include name, number, previous experiences, and a brief statement on why you want the position and what you would bring to the summit. Let’s try and get this taken care of quickly so we can move on to more fun things.
