--= House News =--

Well a little while back I ran an AWOL check - we lost 12 inactive members with more going by the end of this RoS. I'm still standing by my "participate in some event or you're AWOLed" thing. So those of you who haven't yet, get to it.

Earlier this week Ben and I concocted a new honor guard for House Dinaari members, and instead of just copy/pasting Kir's stuff we decided we'd offer a special item for members who become a Master Assassin are rewarded the coveted Silver Bryar Pistol. For those of you who play Jedi Outcast with us regularly know that we're all about the bryar pistol. While it holds no special powers the silver bryar pistol is a sign of prestige and is marked with a golden claw of Dinaari. More on this on February 1st when we decide the first member.

Ah some rather important news. Kir recently announced the newest Son of Taldryan, Benevolent Whiner. Big congrats to him on receiving the honor. Well done, Ben.

--= House Competitions =--

I'll finish off my crappy little puzzle comp with this last image. First 3 people who figure out what the image is gets medals of some sort. See attachment/link on Dinaari site.

That's really more or less it for House competitions... But then everyone has so much other stuff to do. Don't forget the weekly MP nights, ICTE, bi-weekly Sunday Tournaments, the Krath RoS and Kir's soon-to-come trivia. Lot's to do still.

--= Project Updates =--

Well I had put all my own projects on hold for the Krath RoS and then the following Sith War, but I've decided to say screw that. I'll start working on stuff again though I don't think Ben or I actually stopped. We've been doing little things throughout the entire RoS so far, now I'll just kick it up a notch.

A while back I requested some leadership info from a bunch of past and present leaders across the DB. Belzy got back to me with a really good but of info that I'm going to follow. Competitions are the lifeblood of the DB, sure... but a never-sending stream of competitions can drive people crazy. Everyone needs to cool off once and a while. And seeing as we have the Krath RoS followed by the Sith War and then we're running a big clan competition, and Korras might through us an Obelisk RoS just for kicks, I'm cutting back on my competition devising. Instead I'll be working on more behind the scenes stuff, and training stuff for the House. So be looking for that more than new competitions and such.

--= News From Abroad =--

Demos finally resigned/got fired from Commander of the Guard after a long tenure of broken promises and inactivity. Cheers to him. LM "I'm an idiot" Mike has taken it upon himself to re-structure the GMRG. Apparently if the DC accepts his new proposal the GMRG can once again do absolutely nothing. Here's hoping.

Jac and Mav have finally decided on the Obelisk Order's next OHC - it's none other than Krath Archpriest, I mean Obelisk Prelate Korras Aquillarum. Hopefully he'll have some good ideas/will do something for the Order.

RoS is in chapter 2 now which ends on the 5th of February followed by, I think, one more chapter. If you've been following the story we're now blaming people and fighting them in the ACC ladder or drawing pictures of the library or writing about some oblique sentence fragment Kaiann says in the story. If you're still interested go do stuff.

--= Quaestor's Corner =--

Well, a lot of you must have heard by now that I've gone insane with rage. And yeah, that's true for the most part. See, I can just take so much pointless bullshit before I feel the need to quit something. Last time that happened I quit CoG in a stunning display of assholishness. Well, because my only position now is Quaestor of Dinaari and I don't want to give that up - I've given up on the rest of the DB. Seems petty, no? Well that's where the insane rage comes it because it makes up for the pettiness.

None of that, however, changes the fact that I want to see you guys participating in the MP nights and the RoS and everything else so you can win medals and have fun. I've been there and done that, now I'm just going to come up with new stuff for you guys and gals to do. So this should be better, for everyone.
