Greetings all, and welcome to my first Quaestor report. Before I start, I'd like to thank Lan for giving me the opportunity to lead Qel-Droma once more... I won't disappoint you (or the House, or the Clan, for that matter.) Also, before I start, just a little quote from one of my favoutire books:

Ave! Bossa nova, similis bossa seneca!

(Roughly translated: here's the new boss, same as the old boss.) :P

Well, not quite. I won't start drastically reorganising things, if that's what you're afraid of. Instead, I'm going to concentrate my efforts, especially on the short term, on doing what, in my opinion, any Quaestor should do: making the House as active as possible, and more fun to be in. The fun factor is also exxential for the activity factor, since people generally don't do things in an environment they don't enjoy. So I'll be working on both, although I must say I'm going to start with the activity level this week.

Participation in the Krath RoS has been, to put it very mildly, low. Arcona is currently last, and as Qel-Droma, we just can't let this continue. I want as much work as possible from everyone. It doesn't matter if you don't get first place, but it matters if you participate. It's always better to submit only average work than not to submit anything at all.

Also, I want every one of you who has done something for Chapter Three to mail me (privately) and tell me what they've done. That way, I can get an accurate view of the participation rates in Qel-Droma, and I can reward people accordingly.

And now, on to other business. The position of Aedile, for example. I'm not taking an Aedile yet, at least not until the Krath RoS is over. After that, I'm probably going to open applications for the entire DB, so should you be interested in the position, prepare to write a really good one.

In other news, I'd like to welcome Apprentice Keno in Qel-Droma! You've made an excellent decision to join us, and I'll do what I can (I'm sure the rest of the House will, as well) to make your stay here productive and enjoyable. Well, that's about it for my first report. No, I'm not going to repeat the Roster. My Aedile will probably get to do that, if I take one. :P
