Okay, some real announcements this time. Here goes:

I got a LOT of good applications for this. I had a hard time deciding in the end, and ended up with not one, but two Praetors. Most of you know it by now, but these are the new Praetors to the Obelisk High Commander: The first is a former CoG, Raistlin Sadow. The other is a gaming Krath, Strategos Thanatos Entar Arconae. They’ll be working with me for competitions, one of which is listed below.

Republic Commando:

Republic Commando is going to hit the stores soon. Go, and reserve your copy. It’ll be worth your while, and this is why:

The release dates: March 3rd for US, 4th for EU. Now, with this in mind, we’re running a tournament for Republic Commando on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of March. So, if you know you have the game by then, send a mail to [Log in to view e-mail addresses], and we’ll put you on the list. Note that subscribing is in no way mandatory, you can drop in if you’re not on the list. But the list will be published, so you know who you can fight, instead of having to ask everyone.

What will the rewards be? There will be a set of Nova’s, for one. Also, there will be the usual line-up of Clusters of Fire, and possibly even more. Why Nova’s? Because this will be done as a small Vendetta, but for only one weekend. No strings attached, no long winded competitions. Just go out, and play. In the end, those with the highest amount of points, will be awarded the Nova’s. And it’s most likely the last time to earn those for a while.
