I will start off with announcing the new Instructors for the Shadow Academy

The new instructor for the ICQ exam will be Braecen Isradia of Exar Kun

The new instructor for the Meditation exam will be Macron Goura of Naga Sadow

They both submitted great applications and I am proud to add them to the Shadow Academy Staff. While these are the two that where selected, we received some great applications and I would like to thank everyone that applied you didn’t make selecting people easy. A few of whom also I had some great ideas for new Courses. I would like to encourage those that have ideas for new Courses to talk to me and write up a draft outline what the Course will cover. The best way to become a member of the Shadow Academy Staff is to create a Course.

Now on to the Degree’s

The Shadow Academy on behalf of the Grand Master is proud to announce a new program to award those that have proven themselves to the pursuit of knowledge within the Dark Side thru the research and study of Dark Lore. As such the Shadow Academy will begin handing out Degrees in Dark Lore, which will be displayed at the beginning of the Course section of the ID line and are free to be used in all other forms of ID line to those whom these Degrees have been granted. There are several steps to full Mastery of Dark Lore.

To those that have shown true spirit and commitment in studying and teaching the Dark Side the following Degree of Dark Maven (MVN) is bestowed upon.

Those who have gone that added step extra could earn the next step along the path and reach Savant indicated by (SVT). The Headmaster in conjunction with the Grand Master herby bestows the Degree of Savant upon.

For those select few that show an unending drive to the study of Dark Side Lore there will be two Advanced Degrees. These Degrees can be recommended by the Headmaster but may only be bestowed by the Grand Master. Neither of these Degrees will be awarded at this time.

Every few centuries a creature will dedicate their lives to the knowledge of Dark Lore to those very few may the Degree of Dark Sage (SGE) be granted.

In very few cases throughout all of History has a creature been so consumed by their lust of knowledge have they had complete Mastery of Dark Lore (MDL).

From this day forward these Degrees are official within the Halls of the Brotherhood and may be listed on all official ID lines. There are no other Degrees to be granted on this day other then those listed herein.
