Konnichi wa, meat puppets. Because I still can't get enough of your cries of pain, it's time for another Aedile report! Betcha didn't see that coming...

Ah, this week has been a period of great change. Firstly, and quite

sadly, Jak resigned from the position of Tetrarch of the Avatars of

Darkness. In conjunction with the Clan Summit, we then elected to

close down the Avatars and move everyone in that Phyle into the Night Hawks. So, Marka Ragnos now has only 3 battleteams- a Krath Phyle, a Sith Squadron and an Obelisk Brigade. Ahh, trinities are so soothing in a strange, twisted way... ^_^

Also in the news this week, the Seals for the Krath RoS were just

awarded. Which means that we can sift through your dossiers and find who did what, who was active and who wasn't... and rest assured, those who did stuff will be given kudos. Lots of kudos. And enough kudos often leads to medals. You've been told... =D Personally, I got 11 Seals of Retribution while Muz got 9, and Lenzar got 5. That's called leading by example ^_^

And leading on from the topic of kudos getting you medals, the first

Sadow Conclave was held last week in a secret location. The first

meeting of the Clan Summit, House Summits and Overlords of the Clan saw much discussed and many medals awarded after a careful evaluation of each member's activity. I'm not going to list them all, since Goat sent out a big email with every medal and promotion awarded in it. Suffice to say, another Sadow Conclave will be held at the end of this month- if you want to get noticed, kick that activity into hyperdrive. On that note, I want to give props (yes, I stole Jac's word. Get over it. XD) to two of the most hyperactive Journeymen in the Clan. First off is Kat Pridemore- is there anything you haven't done recently? Submitting to both the MT's (and placing, as well),

training and then qualifying in the ACC, successfully completing her

first Jedi Hunt... if I'm not careful she'll have my job next =D

Secondly is my Apprentice, Macron Goura from Ludo Kressh. Submitting to the Sadow Chronicle, the Dark Voice, the Sith Lords Reborn comp and challenging me to try and become my Black Guardsman, as well as becoming the Eclectic Pedagog of the Dark Jedi Meditation, he's been on overdrive recently. Plus, I just sent Macron off on his first Jedi Hunt. Bring me back the Jedi's head- you can keep his sabre as a trophy. ^_^ Seriously, both of you guys rock- I sense some serious potential emanating from both of you.

Blimey, that section got a bit longer than I expected... ah well.

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Firstly, medals... y'all know about the big medal binge that involved

us hijacking a freighter from the Antei Medals Corp. and smacking

people about until they gave us several crates of extra medals, so

I'll move on to other medals not awarded by the Sadow Conclave.

Legions of the Scholar were awarded to Muz, Voort and Lenzar for their trivia pwnage.

Clusters of Fire were awarded to Lenzar (lots of them), Xhedias, Muz

and Kat. W00t!

Two Crescents with Quartz Stars were awarded to Rori for his utter

pimpage of the Quaestor's Questions. And when I say utter, I mean it. =D

Kat Pridemore got a Crescent with a Ruby Star and a Crescent with an Amethyst Star for her pwnage of the MT's. Rockin'.

And Lenzar got a Crescent with an Amethyst Star for a competition held by Arania, entitled Mission Impossible. Phew... now onto the

promotions!

Apart from the ones awarded by the Sadow Conclave, one this week- Kat Pridemore was promoted to the rank of Jedi Hunter for generally kicking arse, and successfully completing her first Jedi Hunt. Wooo!

One more step until you can go around beating people cough Muz

We also got a new member this week- Alexandria Eris Entar, known

better as Lexy, the resident femme fatale of the Brotherhood =D

The Weird and Wonderful World of Your Aedile...

... is like a rollercoaster. Up and down, up and down, blurrrgghhh...

heh. In terms of emotions, anyway. At the beginning of this week I

was quite frankly pooping myself because I had so much work and stuff to do (oh, and I also had 8 ACC battles on. 8. Eeehh...), but by

today I'm actually pretty calm, since I only have one essay to do over

the weekend, and yesterday went really well. Why, you ask with bated breath? I shall tell you why. Because, we got some really serious, awesome help with our Media Studies from a GOD with the editing suite. Basically, the guy who helped us is in the other Media Studies group; he makes skating videos with his friends in his spare time, so he is PIMP on the editing suite. Because he's such a cool dude he gave up one of his free lessons to come and help us wrestle our coursework out of the ditch and into the dizzy heights of utter pwnage. It now has awesome titles, proper flashbacks, sound effects where needed (gunshots) and one music track that is devastatingly effective at creating the right mood. Now we just need to add the classical music for the Mafia boss scene, the creepy music (donated by my friend Carl and his crazy collection of Mike Patton CD's) for the alleyway scene and the heavy metal guitar riff (also donated by Carl- Ayreon r0x0r.) for the end credits. Ahh... it's so great when everything goes right. And we have until the 18th to finish it. I think we can pull that off, especially since I think I picked up a few things from watching the editing guy's manipulationment of the suite. Ph34r. Oh, and I also got utterly pwned on Thursday night... we had two 8th Dan (8th Dan?! Bloody hell, that's like the best of the best...) Japanese sensei at Kendo, so of course everyone made the effort to fight much harder. And I got completely smacked about by this big fat English guy with 'Smith' on his tare. If I ever get good and he comes back to our dojo... I'm going to waste his fat ass. Well, I'm not because I suck, but I'll certainly try. And one of the Japanese sensei looked almost exactly like Toshiro Mifune. Exactly. 99% identical. That was a real surprise... you don't expect to walk into your dojo and see Toshiro Mifune, star of so many Samurai films and generally the master of everything Samurai, standing there looking politely intrigued. Okay, so he wasn't Toshiro Mifune, but hey... looked exactly like him... A picture is attached, in case you're wondering.
