So, how was everyone's week? Mine was ok. WVU beat Texas Tech (No, I don't really care) Thursday night and fires ensured. I went home for Easter; didn't get a damn thing done. I'm preparing to move into a new place this week so I don't image getting too much done this week either. Things are staring to liven up around here. There's the MP Bracket and I'm planning a SP (Yay!) comp for later this week. <o:p>/o:p

The big news this week is that our very own Telona Murrage Tarentae has been appointed Preeator to the Krath High Priestess. This means that over the course of the next month, Telona will be preparing herself to take over as KHP when Alanna steps down. For now, CC Telona on any KHP-emails that you send to Alanna. When Telona succeeds Alanna as Krath High Priestess, that will make the thrid Tarentae in the Dark Council =)<o:p>/o:p

PCON-To-Be<o:p>/o:p

With Telona slated to take over as KHP in a month's time, Tarentum will need a new Proconsul. Luckily, I has such as person in mind already. The next PCON of Tarentum will be  Anshar Kahn Tarentae. Over the course of the next month, be sure to include Anshar in any emails you send to the Clans Summit; this will help make the transition between Proconsuls easier. <o:p>/o:p

Updated Tournament Rules... <o:p>/o:p

The SHW has updated the rules for the bi-weekly Sunday Tournaments, they are as follows:<o:p>/o:p

To be eligible to participate in the Sunday Tournaments, you need to play in at least one gaming event (#gmrg on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and #outerrim Saturdays) in the two weeks between Tournaments. <o:p>/o:p
- You earn 1 point per match, win or lose. You can use points to buy items from a list. Bonuses for the top three at the end of the Tournament: <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">First Place/st1:address /st1:street gets seven (7) bonus points, <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Second Place/st1:address /st1:street gets five (5), <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">and Third Place/st1:address /st1:street gets four (4). <o:p>/o:p
- You earn 1 CF per win or for 3 losses. In addition, the top three participants get merit awards: First gets a Steel Cross, Second gets a Star of Antei, and Third gets a Dark Cross. <o:p>/o:p
- For team matches, the winning team will earn 1 CF per number of members on the opposing team. So if you play 3v3 and you win, your team gets 3 CFs each and the opposing each gets 1 CF each.<o:p>/o:p

New <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Shadow/st1:placename <st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy/st1:placetype /st1:place Course <o:p>/o:p

The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Shadow/st1:placename <st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy/st1:placetype /st1:place as released as new General Studies course called Leadership Applications. This course is designed to help people with the ins and outs of applying for positions within the Brotherhood. XvT/XWA Bracket: Round I<o:p>/o:p

A total of 22 people signed up for the Brackets; 17 for the the XvT Bracket and 18 for the XWA Bracket. Of those 22, 8 members (about 1/3!!) are from Tarentum, with 7/17 in the the XvT Bracket and 7/18 in the XWA Bracket. Up for grabs are a squadron of TIE Defenders for the Clan of the <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">First Place/st1:address /st1:street person in each Bracket, and a personal fighter for the top three in both Brackets. <o:p>/o:p

First Round matches are single elimination; you win, or you're out. Those who win move onto the second round, where they will be placed in groups of three. Standard rules apply: 5/5 on each host, T/I by default, lag-outs have to be called within 2 mins. <o:p>/o:p

New Tridens QUA<o:p>/o:p

This week saw the resignation of Pyralis from Queastor and his transfer to Clan Talydryan. With the resignation of DV, it only seemed natural to appoint Ma'ar-Tyrius Ga-Tir (Smoke) in his place. Smoke has been leading House Tridens since the start of Pyralis' LOA three weeks ago, and has done a most impressive job. Be sure to offer Smoke your congratulations and support, and try to take it easy on the new Queastor :P
