Report: 9 April 2005 </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>ACC Employment</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Jedi Hunter Lucien Azyr Do'Itek has been hired as the latest Judge.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>I am still looking for 2 (yes, two) ACCLive! Operators whose job will solely be to run the ACCLive! project. This requires, but is not limited to, the following:</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Mandatory presence on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays in #acc to run the program for gaming...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- A basic ability to judge battles (i.e. ACCLive! battles are usually "you win" without the worry of the stringent criteria)...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The ACC rank of Seeker or higher...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- There is NO win/loss requirement, but ACC experience is a plus...</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>*Note: Here's the deal with ACCLive!. Since the staff, in general, has myriad scheduling conflicts, the times at which ACCLive! is available for gaming nights is fairly limited. We've been doing what we can, but the short and sweet of it is that we don't have the coverage. So, you guys who are on IRC quite a bit may want to consider this opportunity. If you're afraid of 'workload', don't be. The ACCLive! will be your only job and if you are already on IRC a bunch on gaming nights, why not lend a hand?</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>New Stuff</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Two more battles left in the 2nd round of the CHL, those should be done soon. 3rd round is coming...</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The NPC Creatures guide is just in need of stats, which is 'in the works'. After that, the staff will be given a run down and the chapter will be added to the compendium.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- ACCLive! has been added to the DB score submission form. It will be handled the same as other platforms; 1CF for 1 win | 1CF for 3 losses. The option to select 1v1 or Team is there, yet 'team' games have not (as of yet) been made available.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Character Sheets</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Just a few reminders as CS's have been coming through at a pretty good volume.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Custom Species, Echani and Cortosis are 'restricted'. You must contact me for approval to use either.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Weapons, powers (abilities) and armor listed in the 'description' section of your CS are worthless unless substantiated by stats (assigned skill points) on the CS, or defended by canon species trait.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Skill points for Lightsabres cannot be assigned by those individuals below the rank of Dark Jedi Knight (DJK).</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- There is a difference between race and species, for our purposes Corellian is to Human as Race is to Species (Race: a taxonomic group that is a division of a species), despite the fact that 'Corellian' is no different than American, or 'Earthling' :) So, on CS's you need to select the 'species'. Furthermore, species like Zabrak are 'Humanoid'... humanoid, itself, is not a species. </td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Other folks have to read those sheets, so it would be a good idea not to be sloppy. Check your spelling and keep it to pertinent information.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Weekend</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Well, seeing as I am a bit late with this report, all I can say is, have a great 'what's left of the' weekend :)</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>
