Site Reconstruction
A lot of things have prevented me from doing updates. When I'm not exhausted from doing all the RL stuff I have
going on I'll do a massive update.
SWGN site design is up, replacing the old one. We're
just trying to get the functionality up to speed. The site will feature info on all SW games and SW-based mods for
non-SW games.
They will be ignored.
None Submitted.
So Be It, MPAA
Lucas' final film about the galaxy far, far away will be slightly more evil than any of the others. Released
eartlier this week, the MPAA announced their final decision
on Episode III:
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith (2005)
Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.
PG-13
Rated PG-13 for sci-fi violence and some intense images.

on is first day of sales.
Pandemic Strikes Back
If you haven't heard, Pandemic is releasing Star Wars Battlefront 2 this fall. I acquired two magazines with
a lot of screenshots and info on the sequal, and let me say this - it looks sweet. Space combat will be a major
factor in a few new maps, and by the looks of it there's a map where you attack/defend an ISD! The magazine also
eludes to being able to board the capital ship and continue the battle.
One thing both magazines showed a lot of is a Historical Battle scenario where you board/defend the Tantive IV, and
another planned to be in the Death Star. I'll work on getting these pages scanned and up on the SWGN site on Sunday
night.
HRLD Gets His Game On!
If you remember from last week, I said Star Wars Galaxies was on sale at Wal-Mart for the rather ironic
price of $19.77. The expansion pack, Jump To Lightspeed is also $19.77. Everyone that knows me knows my
stand on MMORPG's. I see them as a collosal waste of money, and that I could never understand why someone would
want to pay monthly to play a game they just bought for $50. I've been bugging certain people who play SWG, like
Xhedias, and asking them all kinds of questions on what you can and cannot do. I even had a thread on the Forums
outright challenging the SWG players to convince me it's worth buying. I was sold on the idea til it came to that
monthly fee of $15.
I thought it over for weeks. I went back to Wal-Mart and looked at the boxes again. Then I went to check out the
hint book at Electronics Boutique. The game haunted my thoughts, and it was apparent to my wife. I was in Wal-Mart
yet again, staring at the boxes, reading the descriptions again when she said "Just buy it. You look at that
everywhere we go!" It was like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I bought both SWG and JTL. I now
understand. SWG is a great game. I'm sorry for being such an ignorant jerk.
On that note, I started to keep a daily journal of what I'm doing - a n00b perspective if you will. Right now it's
not incredibly entertaining to read but it'll pick up. The journal will be featured on the new SWGN site in the
next couple weeks.
Celebration III Reminder
6 more days til Celebration III.
Here's the [Insider's Guide
to Celebration III -- Thursday and Friday](http://www.starwars.com/community/news/2005/04/news20050415.html) from LucasFilm. More people listed to be there include Peter Mayhew,
Warwick Davis, Rick McCallum, Amy Allen (Aayla Secura) and Michael Kingma (Tarfful). That last one is a nice bonus
for those who played through Republic Commando.
What a hellish weekend for me. Today (Saturday) starts out with me getting up before noon and just goes downhill
from there. I have to run over to my father's house to pick up my half-sister, then run to my sister-in-law's
apartment to help them move to a new apartment, then it's fun, fun, fun as I race back home to tend to my three
dogs (two Pugs and a 16-year-old Golden Retriever), then back to my father's house to put the half-sister to bed.
I'll be dying to play SWG but stuck at my father's house watching her til Sunday evening. I'd install it on his
system, but I just won't have the time to really play it. Watching a three-year-old is pretty much a full time
commitment. You can't do that half-assed. My wife will be leaving to go to a baby shower Sunday afternoon, so I'll
be stuck alone listening to that damned Barney crap til my dad gets back from NYC.
Next weekend is equally as hectic for Saturday helping another person move. At least there'll be no toddler in the
mix. As my mom said I'll be looking forward to going back to work on Monday just to have nothing else going
on.

Just for some of the older, folk here, Playboy has announced that a certain female actor from the star wars movies(im guessing from episode III, and my money is on Aayla Secura) will be posing in next months playboy.....it didnt show who she was, or even her name....
Though a lot of people were hoping for Amy Allen or Natalie Portman, the buzz is that it'll be Bai Ling who is playing a somewhat random senator in EIII. She was in Sky Captain.
Well it wouldn't of been Natalie Portman, seeings how she didn't want to do any nude scenes in Closer. Oh well, guess we can just use out imagination. Or whats left of it
