Greetings everyone,

More than a month of leadership so far, and I'm happy with the results of our hard work to make this House a fun place to be. Thanks for those who have congratulated me, I appreciate that. I feel there's more to do, as always, but when other people tell you that you are doing a great work, it's great!

Okay, and now to the DB news:

DB News

Some Seals of Loyalty have been awarded to a few members of the Dark Brotherhood, since it was the day of the Exodus!

Our very own spiritual leader, Grand Master Chi-Long, has been awarded one!

Among other people, the former Consul of Clan Naga Sadow, Malik, current PCON of CSP, Arania, Pyralis, and many others have been awarded too!

The flagship poll is at round #3, with less than 20 options to vote. When I voted, "Autarch" was leading. Don't forget that the new flagship name will also be the new name for the class of ship! Yes, the DB will put away the old Imperial-class Star Destroyer!

Finally, an IRC Guide is coming out for everyone! Read the big post from GM Jac on the DB's website (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/news.asp) and you will know about what it is! More about IRC in the House's news.

Clan News

I'd like to thank everyone who have congratulated me and Godo for the XWA and XvT Bracket tournament. Godo has already won the XvT bracket, and I'm waiting for the other pretender of the finals. More news next week!

The former PCON Esca has stepped down and he has joined our House! DJK Braecen took his place. Congrats to him!

House News

A number of people have been declared AWOL (that means that you are no longer in the House's roster). Most were APPs, unfortunately. But we will get more!

We are currently at 34.

As I said earlier, Priest Esca has joined our House and will bring us glory!

Neziti has completed the Sith Flight Studies I and II! He has also completed the Sith core course and Sith tactics (with a perfect grade!)! He has also done the Dark Jedi Mediation! Congrats!

Dinero Kapur has completed the IRC Basics course and the MSN Messanger course!! Congrats!

Virulence has completed the Conflit Mediation and Obelisk Core course! Yay!

Andras has completed it as well!

Esca completed the Leadership course! Woohoo!

Nirat Cire have passed the Test of Wisdom! Well done!

APP Nirat Cire and APP Andras have been promoted to NOV! Congratulations!

ACO Virulence has been promoted to PRT! Keep it up!

I would also like to point out DJK Braecen's excellent email about various competitions going on in the DB, in the Clan and in the House. Read it! It's REALLY useful to know what's going on!

General news

I can't tell it more, but I want to know you guys. I did meet some on you on IRC (Schisca, Esca, Sunflash, Braecen, Ossus and more), but I would like to know more people from Ziost!

As Jac mentionned in his post on the DB's website, getting IRC is not only a good way to know people from your House, Clan adn the DB, but it's also a great way to get known by your superiors.

Why am I saying that? Because I know that a lot of you are doing the Shadow Academy courses. Yes, it's a great activity, but eventually you will make them all.

Getting on IRC is a good way to know that you are still alive. I will not write emails to each of you every months to know if you are still in the DB.

And emails are not a great way to know someone. I'm using them for "work", such as competition announcements, House reports and replies to questions. But if you want to know me, what I like, what I hate and how dumb I could be, get on IRC. It's a great way to communicate.

Other news

As for my RL, school has started again. Yes, the student strike is over, and there was an agreement with the government...we are going back in a statu quo.

Not a victory in my book, but I can't do much about it.

So I won't be on IRC that often during the next three weeks, but I will still reply to emails and do my reports, don't worry!
