Heh... only joking. ^^ But seriously, it's an honour- I'll do my utmost to pwn in the name of HMR. We are taking applications for the open position of Aedile of Marka Ragnos, so recently occupied by yours truly- big shoes to fill ^^. If you think you have the guts, mail your detailed application to myself, Muz and Goat. And now- onto the report!

First of all, a reminder that the annual Independence Games will soon be starting. However, there's a bit of twist this year- they're Interclub Independence Games, with the Rebel Squadrons. Myself, Bob and Raist (as well as whoever gets chosen as the new Aedile) will shortly be creating events for people to participate in- hopefully they'll be chosen among the 20 events the Brotherhood is going to submit. I want lots of participation in this vendetta- because although I personally think it's going to suck, if lots of people in the DB think it sucks they won't participate. Meaning that CNS can sneak in and PWN, royally- like we did in the KROS. You want that warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from victory, yah? Thought so. Be prepared. =D

As you may have noticed, the third Sadow Chronicle was released earlier this week- amongst the articles was one by myself, asking for volunteers for an expedition to the ice planet Loki to try and find the old HMR base, which was apparently carved out of the ice. If you were confused by what the hell that was all about, allow me to clarify- I want a team of seven members for a competition based around the trip to Loki to find the old base. My intention is to create a password-protected forum/topic on the message boards, so that a run-on can be created, documenting the journey and events along the way. However, I also intend to work other platforms such as fiction and the ACC, and possibly multiplayer platforms into the Operation later on. And now for something much less serious. ^_^ Although it's now a bit out of date, I'm still taking submissions for my latest Aediles Fortnightly competition- 'Crazy Threads'. Specifics are:

A crisis has struck the Marka Ragnos cathedral. Quaestor Muz Ashen, in a fit of drunken stupidity, has stolen everybody's clothes and is using them in an occult ritual. I want you to either describe how you get hold of some new clothes (and what they are) or describe the sting operation on Muz's office where you recover the clothes and stop the Quaestor's mad power trip. Two pages of fiction, TNR 12 pt- submit it to myself, NekuraManji {at}Gmail {dot}com.

Submissions will be accepted until the 24th of April- you have until then to scribble something insane out and send it to me for an easy fourth level Crescent. ^_^

Sheesh, long report. Ah well. Get used to it, rodents. =D

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Legions of the Scholar were awarded to Janos, Voort and Muz for the Saturday trivia. Yaaay!

Clusters of Fire were awarded to Kat, Muz and Lenz for pwning the tournaments. W00t.

A Crescent with an Emerald Star went to Link for second place in the Ludo Kressh Black Guard competition, set by Bob- Kat got a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for getting first, but since she got made Raistlin's Black Guard, Link is now the new Black Guardsman of Quaestor Bob. Making the HLK Black Guard all-female. Kinky. ^_^

And last, but by no means least, Muz got a Dark Cross for third place in the Sunday Tournament. Go Muz!

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Hrrm. I seem to be making a habit of this 'going to a party/going out on Friday' thing. Twice in a couple of weeks. Still, it was a cool party- and there was an awesome dude called Kieran there, who ROCKS at the geetar. So although I felt inferior, he was cool, and taught me some stuff. Rockin'. Although I did get to riff insanely to We Will Rock You, since the solo ain't that tricky- it just sounds like it is. All I needed was an afro to be a Brian May look-a-like. =D And as for the aftermath of the party, when I went back to a (female) friend's house with another friend to crash on her futon... well. Let me just say that three is indeed a magic number. Make of that what you will. ;)

In Conclusion...

Let the pwnage begin. Welcome to the new era of prosperity for Marka Ragnos! As your Quaestor I shall examine all our alcohol supplies carefully to ensure that nobody pinches my damn sake. =D Sayonara!
