  The
  [Dark 
  Voice](http://dv.darkjedibrotherhood.com/DarkVoice_Vol2_Iss1.html) Volume II, Issue I was released this week! A fair bit said in 
  this Issue of the Dark Voice, especially since it's second anniversary of 
  the day we separated from the Emperor's Hammer. Be sure to read the Clan 
  Blurbs :)  

  Along with the release of this Issue of the Dark Voice, a special award 
  known as the Seal of Loyalty were being awarded. These medals simply 
  explain themselves. They are given to those who have been most loyal to 
  the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, their Clan, and even their House. The amount of 
  Loyalty is determined by the amount of work these individuals have 
  contributed. How hard they work without being rewarded, and without asking 
  for a reward. The Seal of Loyalty is not an everyday medal, and it is 
  considered an honour to receive such a medal.  

  Each Consul was given the option to award one of these SoLs for up to 
  three members of their Clan.   

  The three members of Satal Keto who received a Seal of Loyalty were;  

  Callus Bo'Amar  

  Nilani Bakash  

  Warhunter Arawn Entar

A new IRC Guide for the Dark Jedi Brotherhood was released this week. This is especially useful for those members who don't know what IRC is and don't know how to use it. IRC is simply a chat program, however, it is very unlike MSN, Yahoo or AIM. Reading the guide will explain most of everything you need to know. The Guide will tell you were to download the program, how to install it, and how to join channels and use the chat program to communicate with other members. IRC is one of the most used communication devices within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. You get a "real time" response, instead of waiting a day or two for someone to reply to email or a message board post. Although IRC doesn't beat the most popular form of communication, the email, it's a lot more fun than email.

  To become more advanced with the use of IRC, it would be wise to take the 
  IRC Course at the
  [
  Shadow Academy](http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/shadowacademy/sa/index.html). 

As some of you may know, over the past few weeks we have had some trouble with trying to update the Advancement Guide and the Master/Student Program Guide. Enahropes has converted the MSP Guide into HTML and will do the same to the Advancement Guide. There is a small error with PHP, and the coding error couldn't be found. So instead of stuffing around for longer, Enahropes has decided to turn the Guides into HTML. Making it easier to edit/update.

  The Master/Student Program itself is still running. All inquires are still 
  to go to Enahropes. Those Masters who currently have Students are still 
  required to keep in contact with Enahropes. Just because the website is 
  currently being updated, _does not_ mean that the program is offline. 
  Everything would be running smoothly if computers and web pages didn't 
  have stupid technical codes.

A New Clan Competition has begun! View further below for the link. This Clan Competition is a Fiction. Use your imagination, have fun, go as serious or wild as you want. Just remember to have fun. Although there's only a one in three chance of winning a medal, you still earn merit toward your next promotion. How you ask? When you participate in any competition, you are being active. By being active, that puts points toward your next promotion. Those activity points will then help you earn your next promotion. So even if you don't win a medal, you're still getting one step closer to your next promotion. You win both ways :)

That's about all for this week. Not too much has been happening. I am planning to run another competition very soon, and it won't be a fiction event.
