We're still waiting on a few things from the LH office, which I suppose will be on hold until after the IG's. As a matter of fact, unless there is something being run in the ACC for the IG's, I don't foresee much activity until they're over. ACCLive! is coming along, a few challenges here and there. In addition, the titles of "Ace" and "Baron" have been added to the site, so the winner of this little shin-dig will be the first to wear the "Ace" title. The Championship ladder is still in the third round, with two battles left in that round. DA's Xanos and Halcyon have passed to the next and are waiting for their opponents to be decided.</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">As a reminder, there is still the Handicap option for battles. Those of you who find yourself painting targets on the higher ranking opponents may find it useful, especially when limiting their Force ability. With the CHL reaching the last and longest of the rounds and the things that are 'on hold', I have the time to return to the arenas. For those of you who think that the ACC is overflowing with rules for the staff to follow, that's a severely 'one sided' opinion. The guidelines for the staff are tried and tested (for the most part), having been developed to help them along - which makes them proven methods. Some guidelines end up being staples for some staffers, because that's where they are comfortable, others are thrown away. In the end, ALL combatants are at the mercy of the the opinion of the staff member. Yes, there are 'rules' that govern certain aspects of battle, but its not as many as you think - it's just that every time there's a discussion, a problem or an argued rating - the same things always come up.
