Greeting's Oriens Obscurum,

This is my second Quaestor report and I must say that I am pleased with the efforts of our new comers. The new members of the House are showing initiative and I was happy to give out several promotions to those who were worthy. (Promotions below). This just shows that I'm true to my word and am willing to award activity. The members who are dead will get nothing from me and they will most likely be viewed as dead weight, which will need to be removed. Dont look at me as an arrogant egotistical jerk because without the members we wouldnt have a House. But my goal of making HOO the best House in Arcona will be accomplished as long as I am Quaestor.

Announcements :

So far I have been thinking up some ideas to better the Oriens Obscurum website, input is welcome so just email me if you have any ideas.

I would also like to remind you that the Battle Team Leader position for Galeres is still open for applications. So if you dont want any missed opportunities send me your apps. I'm giving you until the 5th to apply.

I would also like to inform you that Sykes has come up with the idea of seperating our battleteams into specific roles. Galeres will be our gaming team, Pandragon will be a writing based team, and Purgatory will be where Sykes and I will personally train the new members to specialize in their specific interest. (Note - If you are a writer and are placed in Pandragon, please feel free to game you wont be restricted from other activity). We just like this setup better because it will help us be organized and it will help you become better at what you do.

New competition ideas are popping into my head so I should have some activities for us coming soon. Also if you guys have any competition Ideas let me know. This is your House just as much as it is mine so let me know what you guys want to do.

So far a couple of our members have gotten IRC and I have already spoken with them personally. I would like to see the rest of you get IRC as well or your DB experience will be a long and confusing journey unless you enjoy writing emails. www.mirc.com

Also I would like to let the new members know that we have a Master and Student program within Arcona. I'm gonna tell you right now that if you get a Master you will understand the DB alot easier.

The gaming nights are still on so get out there and start gaming. Also if you are a gamer you need to play in atleast one match to quallify for the biweekly sunday tournaments. Those of you who dont know what the tournament is, it's a gaming night where the quallified members do battle wit hthe multiplayer platforms to earn points for the clan.
