DB News

The independance games start on the 19th, so I hope you're all ready for that!

A new flagship poll has started, so get in there and voice your opinion about what kind of ship class we should have.

The score submission sheet under your admin options has been changed so now there is only one link you have to go to get your scores in.

Our very on Sharad has been installed as the new CoG, and he's gonna restructure it some, and when the new guidelines come out for joining the RG, I would like to see some more DFB members on the RG roster.

Kir said he would be doing more activities, but I have yet to see proof of this, so if anyone else has let me know and I'll stop harassing him about it, if I don't recieve anything then I'll continue on my rantings about how much of a slacker he is. :P

DFB News

Well, since my last competition was a big flop, I've decided to turn away from MPing for a while and I would like to take a different angle on something. I would like for you guys to create a graphics banner for DFB. Yes, I'm serious. With all the MP comps going on out there, and seeing as how they can offer way better prizes than I'm authorized to, I want to try something new. I'll send you all an email about the specifics when I submit and get approval for the comp. The basics are as follows though: the comp will last for one month, you are allowed to use any pictures from the star wars universe (no porn, though if you do have any interesting pictures send them to me anyway and I'll keep it for personal use :P), the usual prizes of crescents; 1st gets an emerald, 2nd gets a topaz, and 3rd gets a quartz. I would like to create a website to use as a promo for the DB and more specifically Clan Tal and DFB.

Well, I haven't seen or heard from some of you in some time, so I think I'll be running an AWOL check once I talk it over with FK and Ben. No, don't freak out and think I'm gonna boot you off the team just because I don't see or talk to you every day on IRC. I do keep an activities sheet on everyone and so I know who's been doing what.

Personal News

Well, some of you may have noticed that my gaming activity has dropped off just a bit, but have no fear, for I shall be returning to my normal levels of saber swinging and bryars bashing next week. This is my first week with my summer job with the air force, and my body has just now begun to adjust to have to waking up at 5:30am to get ready for my 7am job. It's a 40 hour a week deal so I'm gone for most of the day. Add to that the fact that I still work at my other job. There will be some weekdays that I literally have to go from one job right to the other, and that is a bitch, believe me. Well, I sincerely hope that most of you will participate in my banner comp, it will last for a month so theres no rush or anything. Enough of my prattling, time to sign off.
