Consul Report #4
= = = = = = = = = = = ARCONA NEWS = = = = = = = = = = = Firstly, I apologize for such a delay between reports. This past week turned into one of those barely enough time to sleep type of weeks. Way too much going on. Suffice it to say, things have calmed down, so expect to see more of your lovable, cuddly CON :P
Alright, now lets jump into some important news. This is especially important for House Qel-Droma. Paladorian, Aedile of the house, has stepped down due to real life. Also, due to an increasingly hectic real life himself, Quaestor Strategos is stepping aside. As such, we have named Epis Denath Ciarus (formerly known as Laethan Ciarus, aka. Dhak) as the new Quaestor of Qel-Droma! He has shown a real drive as Team Leader, and has been in this position before, so both Kaek and I have full confidence in his abilities. Keep an eye out for any announcements of open positions from the new Quaestor.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Kaek for looking after the Clan while I was on my unexpected hiatus. He did an admirable job. Also, in case this needs clarification for anyone, Kaek has my utmost trust, and as such, his word is as good as mine. For those who need an analogy I am God and Kaek is Moses bringing my word. Anyone who doesnt listen faces my wrathly vengeance :P
Once again, weve had a number of new recruits join our Clan, with many others already starting on the road to full-Knighthood. Welcome to everyone, and as always, my door is open for one and all. As always, we have our various Arcona Monthly competitions going on, but starting very soon will be the Independence Games. I cannot stress how important this is for us, and that everyone must pull together and do all that they can in helping Arcona achieve top scores. Rest assured that there will be events for whatever you enjoy participating in, so no on will be left out! More news to come on this.
The Clan Run-On is continuing, with plenty of time for anyone to join in and post. Just be sure to read all of the previous posts and youre good.
Lastly, I will list the various little projects that I am currently working on. Hopefully, but the next report, a few of these points will be gone and some new ones shall be added. The list is as follows: -Update the Master/Student Program -Document the basic duties of a Team Leader/Aedile/Quaestor (needs to be types up) -Fictionalize the Non-Dark Jedi Leaders in the Arcona military -Put up the reporting schedule on the Arcona site -Implement a basic promotional guideline up to DJK -Put up the Order of Battle, as well as write up various descriptions and details for the other military branches in Arcona -Begin designing new structures for use by Arcona (Sykes has already submitted a couple) All of this work will be going up on the Arcona website

Some big news this week was the release of the ReBirth document, showcasing many of the changes that shall occur with this project. Although many of the names/exact numbers are outdated, the basic ideas and principles are detailed in this document, so I suggest everyone look it over. Submissions for the Dark Voice end on May 28th, so if you have any articles, then submit them soon.
A new SA course has also been added, concerning proposal writing, so take a look at it if interested.
