It’s certainly been an interesting week here in House Aleema. We’ve added six new Apprentices to our ranks! Please welcome APPs Thom Nighshade, Tetsuko, Shasou, Goose, and Phoenix to the House. We also said good-bye to DJK Nilani Bakash, the former AED for Aleema. Hopefully Nilani will be back with us in short order.

A reminder that the Independence Games are in full swing: Check out www.independencegames.net for all the information on competitions. I’d highly suggest that everyone participate; with the new, more roleplay oriented systems coming online in the next few months, the more we work now the more we’ll be rewarded later. There are games for everyone, regardless of whether or not you can play JK or XvT to save your life. I for one will be participating, as I’m sure will Callus, Enah, and Selket. If we can do it, so can you!

The Inter-Clan Training Event (ITCE) is on for Saturday afternoon. If you’re any good at SW games online, make sure to show up and knock some heads together. The ICTE usually is followed up on Sunday by another tournament, which nets both you can Satal Keto points for ships and upgrades. Again, the more we play, the more we win, and the more we win, the better off we’ll be in the long-term.

I’d like to extend a personal thank-you to everyone who’s stepped up this week and participated, and extend an apology to you all for not having much of an online presence lately. I won’t go into the real-life reasons for my absences, but I’ll be returning home this weekend to spend time with my family (hence the early report). I’m pretty quick on answering e-mails, so if you need anything I’ll be able to get back to you pretty fast, normally. If you have any suggestions for competitions, fiction, etc., make sure to get in touch with me and Callus and we’ll try to make your idea happen.

Last thing: Give a hand to Callus for stepping up and writing an article for the Dark Voice, the Brotherhood’s ‘newspaper.’ He’s covering the proposed changes in Project: Rebirth, and I’m sure he’s done a fine job with it. The Dark Voice should be out on June 12. Look for Callus’s article inside!
