Right. The big news this week- the Independence Games are in full swing! Go to http://www.independencegames.net/independence/index.php?act=list_events and find an event to do- every event gets us participation points as well as giving you a chance of winning, and it also means that CNS pwnz hard in this competition. Which we all want, yah? So far Manji's done...counts... eight events, and possibly some more when I can be arsed. Y'should all do the same amount, 'kay? Lots of people doing lots of events equals lots of chances at medals and points- equalling lots of rewards. Go do stuff, peeps!

The next thing I'm going to mention is the Sunday Tournament. Yep, Muz already said something, but meh- he makes sense. Although I can't participate this Sunday since a) For some reason I can't find the goddamn server and b) my game isn't fully update anyway, I'll be attempting to play some matches next Sunday despite being at work all day and only getting back at 5 GMT. See, that's how dedicated the Manji is. Although he's just going to get wasted due to his appalling connection and lack of practice at multiplayer JA (only played one match, and I got completely annihilated... by Lenzar, I believe ¬¬) he's still going to try and get CNS some points. If you all do the same, we can beat Taldryan again like Voort did last Sunday and take home lots of points to buy CNS lots of AT-ATs and Juggernauts or get shields and hyperdrives for our fighters. It's all good. Plus you get Clusters of Fire as well. ^^

Anyway, the only other thing I can think of to put in here now concerns the reopened Quaestor's Questions thread- go and have a look on the forums, see if you can defeat Lech (who completely pwned the last trivia round) and get yourself a Legion of the Scholar. Questions for the current round are thanks to Xhedias, due to Manji's lack of SW knowledge (through not being an uber-SW geek =P)- so he's not going to participate either, which means if you've read the NJO books you've got a good chance of winning a medal. Which is good. ^_^

Oh, and also- I got a mail back from Khan with approval for me to recommend Second Level Crescents for the Operation: Frozen Fortress competition. As soon as I get total confirmation back from him I'll submit it using the Competition Request form so it's all official- that means you'll all have to try extra hard, since the winner/most active member of the expedition will snag a Crescent with a Ruby Star. You know you want it... so post! ^_^

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

First and foremost, two important promotions- everyone give a big w00t to Kat Pridemore and Macron Goura, who both (finally) recieved the prestigious rank of Dark Jedi Knight due to pwning hard in every way imaginable. Congratulations, guys!

Now for the medals- Clusters of Fire were given out to Kat, Xhedias and Isaiah Demonicus for rocking hard in MP- w00t. Make sure to do the Sunday Tourney like I said above and Manji will be happy. If you don't, he will hunt you down and slaughter you. ^_^

Xhedias snagged a Steel Cross for taking part in a comp held by CSK to try and slaughter him. Obviously, it failed- our Xhedias (who managed to metamorphose from an Ewok into a Zabrak in a day) is still alive and kicking arse for CNS. Rock.

Sharmin Wheyes got a Crescent with an Emerald Star for taking second place in the 'Kat's Secret' competition. Go Sharmin!

And finally, Lech got a Legion of the Scholar for the aforementioned Quaestor's Questions. Sweet.

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Well. My neck hurts. Went out with some friends last night, to the Students Union in Stockport... every Friday they have a Punk Rock/Rock night, which was cool. Although, thrashing to Chop Suey, followed by B.Y.O.B, followed by Drowning Pool-Bodies, really takes a toll on your neck. Especially when the next song is Killing in the Name Of, and especially when you're sitting on some couch thing with a chick on your lap and your head's tilted back for certain reasons. =D Still, it was a good night- although one guy got extremely, violently drunk, and started visualising scallies on the train on the way back. So he kept trying to get up and kick the living daylights out of some scallies who didn't actually exist, while my friend (female) was trying to hold onto him and stop him from hitting someone. Fun. That's why booze is wrong. ^_^

In Conclusion...

Go and do stuff in the Independence Games! And Operation: Frozen Fortress! Participate lots and make Manji proud! Sayonara!!
