Everything went right; there were no fights with anyone; no complaints to worry about - I just enjoyed every day... in a Dark Jedi type of way, of course :) Though, I'm not entirely sure what that means.</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">You have all seen the news article about the changes in accepting training/qualification battles - I'm assuming that, yes.</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">There will be a new course for the ACC in the Shadow Academy, it's called the "ACC Initiates Course" and will cover most of the basics for INI's (hence, the name :P). So, Clan Summits - help us out and suggest that these folks take the course when it becomes available, please. It might help to ease the way for some of the new members. Also, a big thanks to DA Halcyon and KP M'Kel for 'double checking' it for me and to SO Spears for being so prompt with his involvement in it.</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">The Force Power rollovers/links in the ACC were on the fritz for a bit, but now they've been dealt with. DA James has also added an 'explanation' drop down to the rollover thingy. So, not only will you see the name of the Force Power, but I've also put in the explanations of what the powers are. In most cases, its taken from the DSC - in some, it's re-worded for easier understanding. Remember though, much like the 'ACC version' of the Force Powers - we yield to the DSC as the 'official' authority. The ACC motto is "Acta Est Fabula" - perpetuated by former CM Xizor as the beginning to a phrase, actually. The entire phrase is, "Acta est fabula... the game has begun." If there are any Latin guru's out there, maybe you can specify the beginning - but, in loose translation, "Acta est fabula..." means "the play is over" or "playtime is over". Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sunday Tournaments - all day! - #acc - Be There!</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">In case you have no idea what the workload of the Centre is, I'll give you this little tid-bit: In the 3 days that June has been alive (and at the time of writing this), there have been 20 battles opened (6 of which were Training/Qualification); 12 battles judged and 28 character sheets either, approved or declined. It gets a bit hectic here sometimes, especially after Lucas spits out something cool - so bear with the staff. In the whole time I have been here, this is overall, the best staff that I have ever seen. They were a bit rough around the edges, at first, but they are making enormous strides (based mostly on their own desire to do so) and they deserve a pat on the back once in a while :)</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">I am always on the look-out for staff members, so drop me a line if you're interested.
