Greetings Disciples of Plagueis,

The final week of the Independence Games [IGs] is upon us... in truth, the final days are here! The long anticipated games came, lasted for the better part of a month and are soon to pass us by. And you will have to wait another entire year before you get a chance to wrack up the medals and promotion points in huge style, as such! Oh, you did not know that you could get crescents, merit awards and promotions based on all of these games? Well... you can! And if you do an exemplary job, you will! But IGs are not the only thing that has happened this week, let's take a look!

New Members

Every week our cadre of Envoys and Summits receive new talents that will literally forge the future of the Brotherhood. It was not all that long ago that I myself was a lowly Apprentice trying to figure out the difference between a DC and THE DC. lol wow, I was really blonde in those days!

Scholar of the Week

With the new ACC course out this week I have seen a great deal of buzz and SA mail flooding into my inbox which I absolutely love! However, now that I know several of you are not on LoA, I will expect some IG participation out of you! Alright, let us take a look at our scholars!

Those brave enough to attempt a single course within the week: Zomar, Quinlan, Deron, Jagan, Xen, Darkness, Callus, Aerick, Mareek, Slasher, Rydack, Prajna, M'Kel, Oldie and Anakin! Congrats on showing up this week and learning something new!

Those who daired to double up: Bran and newly arrived Jodokus! For those whom struck thrice: Ashura, Blazer now Venquis, Hunter, and the lovable Reaver!

This brings us to the 'Scholar of the Week' the person that stepped above and beyond the normal call of duty to further their knowledge of the DB and things Star Wars related. This individual completed 4 exams and gets the top dawg honors... Congratulations Deren! You are the Scholar of the Week!

Notable Feats

First I just have to give a huge congratulations to our DJK Blazer/Venquis for his second week in a row of absolutely dominating the ICTE - he took 59 CFs this week! The P:MAA even joked about creating a new award just because this guy tears up the JA ranks! Good job!

A more serious note, one of our younger members though he has been forged now as a Veteran has attained an incredible feat that is rivaled by few. DJK Lucien Isradia was recently elevated to the rank of Krath Priest - in I believe a lil over 4 months - huge props bro! Triad 4 Lyfe!

Hehe Now I normally do not cover Knighthood Trial elevations... as I believe the QUA are extremely proud and wish to discuss that, but I am making an exception this week! I have two extremely dedicated individuals that have continuously come to me for advice, guidance and direction... they are also my Apprentices and darn good ones too!

Congratulations on Guardian to Aabsdu and Prajna! You both have incredible drive and perhaps will develop into elite writers as we work to hone your skills!

Competitions

As always I am going to remind everyone that Competitions Weekly comes out with this document every week - in that email you will find the competitions broken down to DB wide, Clan and House level activities... from there I will give you the name, brief description, the link for more details, and I usually throw in the award that is going with it!

Brief mention however will go out about my Clan competition that is running this month! Clan Plagueis - Current Events! This is a story about anything you want to write about, the only rules: Must be in-character, must cover some event that has/could happen within the last month and must be submitted to me! Otherwise I fear that Langis and Korbin while good writers will unjustly walk away with free Crescents this month!

Independence Games

You have all seen the e-mails that cover IG Highlights, IG Strategy, IG JA, etc. This is the time now that I tell you... give it all you got! Put all your effort into until you are drained... then perhaps give just a lil bit more. You are not representing your name or the Clan name - You are representing your friends and allies with each bit you do!

On The Horizon

Clan History - I am currently scripting out a more in-depth Clan History that will be stored away in our Clan Tome. However I need to contact a certain DA about creating a CSK blurb like the one he did for CEK - then beg him to do a similar one for CP!

Clan Powers - Waiting for the Clan History to finish up, however, I feel a push as I would like to get these out before Rebirth! Folks, these powers are going to be more practical or useful... my limited ACC experience has taught me enough that all of our powers will actually be effective in battle!

Competitions - Current Events is not the only Clan competition you will see from me for the entire year! That would just down right bore me to death... I have started writing a large scale competition that should arouse every active member in the Clan! Quest For Dominance version 2.0!

Member of the Month - Currently we have a great discussion going on the Message Boards Look for the link in Beginner's Guide to the DJB about the official name of the Member of the Month... help us decide!
