A lot of failures as well, which surprised me because of the course's simplicity. Most failures that I had the pleasure of handing out were due to TMI (too much information), really bad answers or no answers at all. A lot, and I mean A LOT of answers would have been right had they not stuck in another, unnecessary, bit of babbling that made the answer incorrect. Maybe it's just that I'm a bit pickier with the tests I get my hands on - but I doubt it since the ratio of passing to failing is better than 'good'. There were a bunch of tests that I wanted to fail, but had to pass based on 'score' - it's a good thing the DB doesn't have 'critical tasks' :P</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">I was hoping that we'd see some 'dying down' of the influx of Initiates - but not yet. June has easily been the highest turnaround month since I have been CM, and I can't say that I see it getting much worse :) On that note - please keep in mind that ALL ACC staff members are part of other clans, have other responsibilities as well as their RL's. Korras, for instance, was MIA for a few days which prompted a bit of concern - turns out he was RL-physically-hurt... I dunno about you, but if I bust my ass... the DJB ain't the first thing on my mind :P So, keep in mind the 'other stuff' that the staff might have going on - heck, even take that into consideration with the members of your Clan.</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">A bit about Training/Qualification. All of the staff that does training and qualification have the right to end the battle at any time. If an individual is clearly capable of passing their qual battle, early on, there is no need to perpetuate something that takes the combatant away from accomplishing the inevitable - you can pass with a single post, if it's good enough. The same can be said for failing - if it's bad enough, staffers don't have to put up with it - especially with someone who should obviously be in training and reading the compendium, first. Training is similar. If someone is being trained, but they seem to really have their sh*t together - the staff member can end the battle and suggest they qualify. A Training battle CAN be moved to the Proving Ground and counted if there was no assistance needed - i.e. the only comment was "good job" because the post was that good. Training/Qualification/Passing/Failing are all solely at the discretion of the staff member... period. They can do what they want with you, when they want to do it. We're not here to waste anyone's time, especially our own.</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6"> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="6">There's a new poll up on the ACC Forum...
