Salutations Exar Kun,

Another week has passed us by and the Independence Games are almost over. To some it's been a labour of love to others a right pain. For instance Taldryan wrote this event off as something 'fun' that really had no virtue. Whilst are closest rivals the much feared CSP and battling with us, neck and neck in terms of submissions. I for one have enjoyed it and despite the length of time this has taken it has allowed Plagueis to take centre stage, which in my books is a good thing.

I am especially pleased to be writing this report, no I haven't won the jackpot and plan on living on some remote island in the tropics with my stunning super model girlfriend. No, today is a personal double victory! I now have a computer that listens and obeys my every command and I am pleased to note the sweltering weather has gone, though still a touch on the humid side I know long have to fear having my hand 'cooked' whilstg trying to open my car door. It also means I can actually sleep at night, plus I have had a couple of glasses of red wine, it all helps!

A combination of the summer, IG's and an assortment of other perfectly good reasons has meant that this competition only just had enough submissions to make up the three awards. So to you three my thanks and congratulations, but who are the luck group?

This week I am going to refrain from issuing a competition, in part to give you all a break and secondly allow me to pull together something a bit different for my next competition. You'll all been doing extremely well, and I hope we can keep it up.

 

With the IG's whinding down it's little wonder we have all been a little bit tired, none the less some of you are determined to win yourselves medals or promotions, to you lot well done and keep it up!

An excellent effort from all of you, I must mention Venquis. An incredible effort, probably one of the more successful members to grace this House. He managed to not only completely crush his opposition in multi-player combat but also racked up an army of medals AND squeezed in a few Shadow Academy courses! Remarkable, well done!

 

**We have **unfortunately lost a couple of member this week. Acolyte Phoenix has moved over to Rogue and so has Acolyte Dark Revan (though he should hopefully be returning in November). Apprentice Hunter has returned though and made an excellent start by taking on some courses and passing them! Welcome back. <font size="2">Sith Warrior Starrett has also made a welcomed appearance, nice to have some of the more experienced members return from 'Rogue' status. Also from Rogue status is Apprentice kitiaro bloodbane and Apprentice Porter, welcome to you both and I hope to see you all on mIRC.</font>

The Independence Games are almost at an end, it's a tough slog and there has been some incredible activity, in fact some of it would be considered borderline insanity. Sunday is the last day and has the likes of Braecen has already pointed out, get in their and make on last effort.

[from last weeks report] There's a little event called the Inter Club Training Event, or ICTE or as I prefer to call it Iced Tea! It's a chance to earn Cluster of Fires. It's on TODAY, games can be found on the mIRC channel #outerrim

**Lusankya, **why have you forsaken me!? Warmaster Lusankya has left our number. One of our more dedicated and experienced members has departed House Exar Kun to join Bane. BUT I am pleased to announce he has moved to take up a higher calling, namely to become Aedile. I sincerely hope it's the beginning of a great career in Plagueis. So my thanks to you and the best of luck, do us proud ;)

The IG's will be ending shortly, but to hopefully put the nail in the coffin of all our rivals I think we need a good handful of submissions from you all. Yes, with one last push for the finishing line we could win this apocalyptic competition, but all the rights to wrong and be true dark jedi! So spare a thought, and get a submission in!

Once their browse over the events. You can naturally take part in any of the events you like. Or if you are of the tactical nature, go for all the events that have a handful of entries, this ensuring you place high. And what has already been mentioned there are awards for the placers, depending on how highly you place. So come on people, lets finish this off, go home and drink too much wine! Hurrah.

I have complained, I have torn my hair out, I have threatened the very stability of both the country and my own sanity getting this computer running. I can now finally put an end to my rants in my reports and proudly say I have won. Not one hitch or even annoyance has occured since my last report, and now I can play all my lovely games! To celebrate I went out and bought another game, and no it wasn't Star Wars related. Warhammer Dawn of War has been a little labour of love, there nothing quite like seeing a little dreadnaught waltz up to an unsuspecting Orc and brake it in two like a matchstick! Classic.

This Marine clearly thinks he's in the Olympics, a double back flip somersault. 9.8!

It gets better, how I hear you cry? The weather! No I haven't invented a weather machine and plan on bribing the countries of the world for silly money! For the past week or so the temprature has been rather on the high side, enough to cook your bacon and eggs off a car bonnet or perhaps turn my lilly white skin brown! Oh sure it was great to start with, but after a week of almost no sleep, sweating like...like, well you know...a lot! I wanted this horrible nightmare to end, and it has.

For some reason I have this need to vent each week about something, something completely unrelated to the topic at hand namely Star Wars. This week I really, really want to complain. It's not some corrupt government official, it's not that old granny with a drum or even our lack of talent on the tennis court. No, it's something far worse! Terrible television.

Presently the United Kingdom is enjoying the golden years of terrible television, and one of the latest culprets is a program known as Big Brother.

The name of the game is simple, cram a load of losers, wannabes and fame seekers into a House. Cut it off from the outside world (except a million cameras of course) and watch the spark fly. Or as I prefer to dub it watch the 'paint dry'. I am ever hopeful that this so called reality program will introduce a new rule, namely each week rather than vote someone off the house we get to vote for them to killed brutally and horribly. A ratings winner for sure. But then you have got to ask why do I keep watching it!? Damn.

Is it time for us to gloat? Hmm...not just yet, but at the very least we're going to place very high after the Independence Games results are known. Well done all of you, great job!
