Introduction:

Jonuss sat at his desk as he shuffled through the papers in front of him. He cursed beneath his breath as he failed to find the documents he needed. After several minutes of searching, and absolutely no luck, he gave up and slammed his head to his desk.

"Dammit, I've lost all the notes I had on the Book of Sadow translations." His voice was muffled as he spoke to the smooth surface of the desk. "I'm going to have to start over now." He said as he picked his head up and then dropped it to the desk several times before he hurt himself. "Ow."

OOC: What does this translate to? I formatted my harddrive and lost everything I had for the Book of Sadow project I'm working on. No worries though. I've only gotten one submission to my 'Cursed' competition and all of the other rituals and assorted goodies I had done already were my own creation. So all I have to do is rip them back from my hollow head and redo them all. Some items will be a bigger pain in the ass to retrieve, however, and I may be slightly frustrated in the coming weeks. If I start randomly kicking people from the channel, chances are I'm working on the book and I'm frustrated. Please don't take it personally, or you'll get kicked again. :)

Stuff:

Sorry about the lack of reports and contact the last few weeks. My grandfather has been sick and I've been called on to do many odd jobs for him and my grandmother and they take up a lot of free time. Now he's in the hospital so I've got some more free time to kill. He's been getting better since he went into the hospital so I'm hopeful that he'll pull through. I lost my other grandfather last november so I really hope that this one gets better and goes home to annoy my grandmother again.

I've sent an email to the phyle about stuff I'm planning and stuff they need to do. I won't go into them here since it's stuff that everyone else in the clan has probably been told by their superiors at least once. :P

*****Monthly Missions

This is something that will be started this July. I will be putting the first mission through the comp center for approval and then it will be revealed and started July 1st.

The members of Clan Naga Sadow are faced with a problem. A curse has befallen the clan causing chaos in both of the houses. It is your job to create a Counter-Curse to release the clan from its effects.

You will need to create a ritual to be the Counter-Curse. Include a list of components, any incantations you (or others will use in it) and a vivid description of how the ritual is done.

That is just one part of it. The second half is to write a fiction telling how the ritual was created and then how it was used.

You must prove to me that the ritual is applicable to this situation and perhaps others in the future. You must prove that you also weild the power to pull it off successfully. An apprentice will not be able to banish the curse by himself, he will need a great deal of help.

The overall winner will have their ritual immortalized in the Book of Sadow.

*I've had 1 submission so far. This ends July 1st. I'd like to award all 3 places and not give a medal away just b/c 1 person felt like submitting. Help decide the future of the Book of Sadow, submit your ritual today!

Conclusion:

It's been a hellish few weeks for me and I apologize for not being here as much as I should have been. It's difficult finding the motivation to really accomplish anything when you've got so much crap on your mind.
