Hastily scribbling a signature on the datapad held out to him, Manji kept his gaze on the crate now resting in the middle of his quarters. As the deliveryman turned and walked out after bowing to the Quaestor, Manji leant down and pulled the lid of the crate off, gazing within. Suddenly a blue light shone out, illuminating the room with it's glow. Reaching in with a whistle of disbelief, Manji pulled out the Sapphire Blade and inspected it closely before his eye caught the datapad inside the crate, with the reccommendations from the Consul and the Obelisk High Commander upon it. The only throught in the Archpriest's head as he tilted the Sapphire Blade back and forth was thus:

"Wonder if I can reforge it into a katana?"

Important Stuff

Konnichi wa, meat puppets. Manji doesn't feel that good today, so this report should be shorter than usual.

Firstly, in important news- the Independence Games results are trickling in. So far CNS resides in a close fourth position, behind Scholae Palatinae and Tarentum but ahead of that so-called "mega-clan" Plagueis. If the rest of the results go well, we should hopefully retain that position... but I have a sneaking suspicion that, since it's so close, Plagueis might slip ahead. Grrrr. And double grr that Manji hasn't placed in any events. >_< Ah well. Congratulations go out to Voort, Goat, Manesh, Kat, Tharivol, and every other member of CNS who didn't quite reach the top three but did damn well. A nice showing, but we could have done better... once we get first in a DB-wide vendetta, then Manji will be happy =P

Now, other news... firstly, Dessan is running a CNS Training Night TONIGHT! If you want to hone your skills in Jedi Academy, get into #naga_sadow on IRC so you can stop sucking and start pwning. Which is always good. Also, although I don't know a) how it works or b) what on earth they'd play on it, the DB now has a radio station- go to #DBradio on IRC to find out more. Hmm, what else... Frozen Fortress! I just sent out a mail announcing the penultimate event of the competition- a fiction event this time. The best entry will be used to continue the run-on as it races to it's conclusion. ^_^

I can't think of anything else to put here... if anyone thinks of something that I haven't covered, feel free to mail me with a slap.

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Medals: Clusters of Fire were awarded to Kat Pridemore for her multiplayer pwnage. Nice work.

Kat and Thorin both recieved a Steel Cross for their work in rocking out CNS and being awesome. Well done both of you!

Lech recieved a Dark Cross for his dedication to the Tetrarch of the Night Hawks, in helping her run the Phyle. Sweeeet.

Oh, and Manji got a Sapphire Blade. But then, you already knew that. ^_^

Promotions this week: Firstly, Foto was promoted to Acolyte. Rockin'.

Sharmin was promoted to Guardian on the reccomendation of her Master, Kat Pridemore. Awesome!

Shadow Soul was promoted to Novice for completing his history. Woo!

And Raven was promoted to Guardian (a promo which, although I'm ashamed to say it, was probably overdue) for general pwnage and rocking out. Go Raven!

Courses: Tharivol passed the IRC Basics and the IRC Channel Operator courses. Neat!

Two new members- Shadow Soul, who's already been promoted to Novice, and Esca Teiko Isradia, who joins us from Clan Plagueis. You're both extremely welcome in Marka Ragnos- the bar is in the corner, feel free to help yourselves to a drink. Although you might need to get Xhedias off the bar first. He gets a little 'rowdy' when he's drunk =D

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Urgh. Manji doesn't feel so good. Could be because of the crappy activity thingy he had to go on Friday and Saturday, complete with outdoor activities. >_< Actually, I don't mind outdoor activities- but when it's 9/10 at night and you're knackered anyway, but you get dragged out into the cold, wet darkness and blindfolded then made to walk through some forest in a line of people, and you aren't allowed to speak above a whisper, and Manji's half-deaf anyway... take away my sight and I become pretty much useless, so when I couldn't hear a word the person in front was saying. Which pissed me off. But not as much as being made to crawl through some crappy tube, when my elbow got smacked dead-on with a shinai at Kendo... therefore, crawling on a badly bruised elbow hurts. A lot. Ah well. I guess I'm just ratty and knackered. And the guy next to me on the coach back (although we're mates, and he's cool in small doses) stank. =D

In Conclusion...

Uh... go and do stuff! Like competitions and stuff. Make sure to cc your Battleteam leader on anything you do, so that they can acknowledge that you're doing things and reward you for them. Sayonara!
