Greetings Exar Kun,

It is over, it is finally over! The Independence Games are at an end and already we have seen a whole group of lovely shineys awarded to a variety of people. It's going to take a lttle while longer before we know all the gory details but we have done very well, I am extremely pleased everyones hardwork. Expect all sorts of slick media to pump out to the masses, breaking down all the events, all the scores and who gets what over the next week or two.

With the end of IG's has seen an increase in activity in a whole host of other areas and I am especially pleased because everything my end is actually working. Quite how is a mirracle saved for another day. None the less, with all the success we have achieved it is tinged with sadness. In this week Clan Plagueis has lost two of its members, two in my mind incredible members. More on that later.

Another big event is also underway at the moment, the 'Live 8'. In a bid to convince goverments across the world to basically free all the debt ridden countries of the world (I admitt I over simplified that) they are hosting concerts all over the world, enlisting major music talents. A sort of sing our way to peace and happiness.

Oh and just incase you thought the world was A OK, rest assured it isn't! When an digitally created frog, who stutters a song sweeps the UK music charts you know it's the end of the world. More on that rediculous story later.

I have something a little different for you this week, there's a game know as 'Battleships'. I can only guess what it's called in America, Asia or even the rest of Europe. The objective was simple, destroy your opponents battleships. This was done by look at a grid and stick pins on where you thought your opponents ships were.

I have created a Star Wars themed version (the 'tie' is weak at best). Your onboard one of Exar Kuns flagships, the Rebel scum have damaged your targetting sensors. Your a sitting duck, question is are you strong enough in the force to spot where the Rebel ships are? Here's the grid:

You have 30 goes, oh and just so you know that I am an evil Jedi with a sick sense of humour there is a friendly Star Destroyer lurking out there, hit it and you get points deducted.

But just so you know I am a good sport, there are three Crescents or to put it another way shiney pieces of metal that allow you to gloat over your fellow members!

Wow, incredible work all of you. And shame on anyone who's not on the list, which looking over it would be...what? Just me? Hmm...ahem. Glass of Merlot to Rydack and Starrett, both have been incredible performers this week. Well done.

**Well we're doing **rather well at the moment, the Honours list demonstrates this much and last count was well over 50 submissions to the IG's from this House alone. There is some sad news, Krath Priest Esca Teiko Isradia is an old friend of mine. Incidently if you know anyone more than a week in this Clan you get to call them old friend. Anyway Esca has decided to move on to do other things, I will of course continue to bribe, blackmail and generally convince him to return. That said he has been one of the most active, talented members I have ever had the privilage of working with. I wish him the very best of luck and hope he will return to us soon.

Speaking of which an even bigger blow have befallen Clan Plagueis with the stepping down of Braecen, he has served in the position of PCON with incredible integrity and good humour. I can honestly say he has been one of the most powerful and positive influences on this Clan that has ever graced its hallowed halls. Under his shrewd management and people skills he has mentored and looked after more members than I have had wine! (yes that really is saying A LOT). Still, Plagueis's loss is House Exar Kun's gain. Braecen has joined our ranks and I'd like to personally welcome you aboard.

The Independence Games are OVER! Finished, terminated, at an end, the long good bye. The most immediate pro of this is no more nagging emails from me. We don't know the full results yet but things are looking very good. When the final tallys are in we shall know, but you have all done very well.

**As you may **all know by now the vacant PCON spot has been filled, by the well known Lucien. Needless to say we all wish him the best of luck in the role. I am confident he will bring much to the role.

I need your help, I am urr..well that is to say I am captured. Yes they're treating me well, I get to see re-runs of the original Star Trek episodes AND I get as much free wine as I can drink (though it is cheap stuff). So how can you save your beloved Quaestor? Did I just hear laughing in the back? Ahem, anyway a run-on is taking place and I encourage you all to take part.

I have so wanted to complain about this for...for ages now! You've heard me rant and rave about grannies with drums, you have heard me complain about everything, weather, countries, work and computers. But none of these things mean ANYTHING compared to this terror you see to your left.

This gummy face frog is the true evil of society, you can forget Sadam Hussein, Hitla, Stalin or even Darth Vader. No we are talking about the 'Crazy Frog'.

This friendly little freak started life as a ring tone for a mobile phone and for some weird reason made it into the music charts. Oh but thats not the best of it, it made it to NUMBER 1!!!!!????

Is it time for us to gloat? Hmm...not just yet, but at the very least we're going to place very high after the Independence Games results are known. Well done all of you, great job! Guess that leaves us with the Great Jedi War, Great Sith War, the Great War of Wars of Wars...war (Okay I made the last one up).
