It is wonderful to make the attempt, it's honorable and great for the Clan, but you take away what could be an awesome experience for the guys who give a crap if you spend your waking moments on the attempts. Make your attempts, but then press on with the ones that matter and leave the rest to blow away like the chaff. Remember, our goal is to get rid of the ones who don't pass the AWOL, not keep them here so they can climb out from under their rock for the next one. The worst thing that can happen is for your time to be spent 'trying' with the useless and forget about the useful. If you start to find yourself getting pissed about it, you've wasted too much time on them.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>I have seen two transfer requests since I have been here, and both reasons weren't good. Granted, the individuals were prolly blowing smoke, but they got the idea from somewhere. Assess your subordinates weekly and make sure you are paying attention to what they're up to - to the best of your ability. I recommend an 'activity' topic on the MB where your members, if they want, can post what they have done for the week. Yes, it will only be used by the folks that do anything, but hey - they're the ones who need the attention :P Also, it triggers that lovely rivalry that we enjoy so much, I can imagine the "I did more than you..." banter... feel the love :)</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Members of Clan Arcona remember, your leaders aren't omniscient! Quejo will be referred to as "Q" and Denath will be referred to as "D" not to be confused with "D" which is me... ANYWAY... I will be getting with Quejo and the Dark Jedi formerly known as Laethan, formerly known as Dhak, currently addressed as Denath about the creation of an ACC Team for Clan Arcona. They will prolly head up it's development, should they feel so inclined, as I would be a slight conflict of interest having a bit of pull with the CM :P There will, most likely, be a comp that will comprise the tryouts from where the selections will be made... more to come on that. From there, I will see what the participation level and interest is and perhaps seek similar developments of the other Clans... then, we can go kick all their asses!
