Important Stuff

Konnichi wa, meat puppets. Time to mix it up a little with your weekly does of Quaestorly wisdom. ^_^

First of all, the results from the Independence Games have been announced... and guess where we came? Fourth, behind Tarentum, Scholae Palatinae and spits Plagueis. However, a look at the results themselves shows that we made it an extremely close battle for third place with Tarentum. Hmm...

Nevertheless, Manji is somewhat pacified with the result. Especially when he considers last years Independence Games, where we placed 7th out of 7. Urgh. That was horrific. At least this years result shows how we've gone from being an ultimate loser clan to being a force to be reckoned with. Oh yes. And when the next few big vendettas roll around, I expect to see you all out there kicking arse once again... particularly when the next Great Jedi War turns up. If we get first in a GJW, Manji will be so ecstatically happy that he'll try and reccommend Golden Lightsabres for all of you =P

And now onto other news. In particular, a leadership shuffle...

Unfortunately, and quite sadly, Epis Xizor has stepped down from the position of Aedile due to being absent from his duties for some time. In the end he elected to step down in favour of another member and for the good of the House- for that I thank him, and respect him. Which means that the new Aedile of House Marka Ragnos is... drum roll DJK Kat Pridemore, formerly Tetrarch of the Night Hawks. Congratulations, Kat! I'm sure that with her inspiring leadership the House will flourish and prosper even more than it has been doing under my stunning rule =P

And be careful... she has a whip, and she's not afraid to use it =D

Also, time is running out for the DB-wide AWOL check... those of you who are still marked as inactive (APP Tenshius, APP Vakra, APP Obelisk, APP Nanjiclicma, APP Constantine, APP Addicks, DJK Khel Nor'Tal, and Priest Sildrin Rys) will LOSE your dossiers on the 14th of July if you do not log in as soon as possible. Don't say I didn't warn ya...

Also, Operation: Frozen Fortress. So far I've only recieved one entry for the fiction event from Xhed. I'm assuming the rest of you don't want medals then? My initial announcement stated, 'any who abandon the mission will be slaughtered and left to rot in the bleak wastelands of Loki.' Or something along those lines. Don't force Manji to start slaughtering. All you have to do is write a fiction about a battle with that big hydra thingy... it's not the most challenging task in the world. You have until the 19th of July. Get writing. Or else.

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Ahh. Medals time!

Raven got a Legion of the Scholar for winning the last Quaestor's Questions round- it just took Khan some time to award it =P

Kat obtained some Clusters of Fire for more multiplayer pwnage- speaking of which, what the hell happened to all our other MP'ers? Have they gone into exile? I hope not, since this ICTE is the last chance to qualify for the Sunday Tournament in which they need to kick serious monkey butt... I hope to see Beo, Dessan and Zacfer out there slaughterifying for Naga Sadow. With those three on our side we're practically invincible. ^_^

Esca and Lexy got Scrolls of Indoctrination for recruiting various people. w00t!

And Phantom got a Dark Cross for her work in Star Wars Galaxies. Yay!

Promotions: Several. Firstly, Daniel got promoted to Novice, then Acolyte, then Protector for generally pwning. Nice work!

Secondly, Citan Uzuki got promoted to Novice for completing his history. Rockin'.

Now, pwnination of the Shadow Academy is continuing... with Daniel passing 10! courses in one week. Namely the ACC Initiates, Dark Jedi Meditation, Krath Grammar Studies, MSN Messenger, Sith Flight Studies I and II, Krath Poetry, IRC Basics, Sith Tactics, and the Sith Core courses. Phew. Keep up the awesome work!

Also, Citan Uzuki passed the Krath Core- good work, dude.

As for new/returning/leaving members... having joined us for a few days, Esca promptly upped sticks and went back to Plagueis. Ah well. Just makes me want to dropkick that annoying 'super-clans' nut-sack into the next hemisphere. ^_^ However, we did gain three new members- Protector Kreth Drey who joins us from Scholae Palatinae, APP (now PRT) Daniel from the Rogues, and APP (now NOV) Citan Uzuki from the Rogues. Welcome to HMR, dudes!

As for returning members, everyone given a drunken 'welcome back' to Jakual Gaiton Ordo, who returns to us after a period of absence. Welcome back, Jakky... get those cyborg Mandalorian chops around a pint and relax. ^_^

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Ho hum. Manji feels lazy. He only woke up at half 8 and yet here he is writing a report at 20 past 9. That's dedication for ya, especially on a Saturday. =P Anyway, firstly I want to give an apology to those who I'm fighting ACC battles with- namely Tharivol (although that one's nearly finished- kick-ass deathpost, dude =D) and Lexy. Since I've also got about five training/qualifying battles going on, it might take me a while to post. Thank you for your patience. ^_^ Anyway, real world stuff... hmm. Well, in 9 days (and counting) Manji is going to have a proper girlfriend. Who is extremely hot and sexual. Only downside is that she lives in Ireland. But hey! I can take jetting back and forth across the Irish sea every holiday since the reward is so good ;) And she even knows that I'm a Star Wars fan and that I'm in this club... and yet still fancies the pants off me. There ya go- proof positive that you can be a Star Wars nerd and still pull. Although her finding samurai swords and guys who play the guitar hot might have something to do with it as well... =D

In Conclusion...

Fourth place in the IG's! Yaaaay! Soon your leaders will get together and decide who to reward for their participation and contribution. It's all good. And let us keep up that display of activity for the next big comp... but multiply it by five, so we PWN completely! Bwaahaha.... ahem. Sayonara!
