Greetings Disciples of Plagueis,

Is has truly been a week for the record books, not only for Clan Plagueis, but for the Brotherhood overall. Yesterday we saw the biggest one day total of members promoted to and within the Elder ranks in the history of the Brotherhood. We now have two Dark Prophets walking amongst us as well as another Elder right here on Byfrost. Congratulations to all who were awarded and promoted, especially the newest Elder of CP, Dark Adept Cyris Oscura.

As you can see, most of the site is up and running again, with a few exceptions. Aerick tells me that he is still hard at work replacing what we lost and should be finished soon. Until the site is 100% running again, all Masters need to forward their proposed trials to myself and Clan Envoy Xen’Culo Harzirto for approval before you mail them to your students.

With the Rebirth preview came the introduction of Warbanners replacing Grants of Arms. These are simply awesome and I cannot wait until we all have our very own. However, before you go requesting your Warbanner, remember that thos members who already had GoAs before will be getting theirs BEFORE any new requests will be taken. Read the Herald Reports to find out when Warbanner requests will be accepted.

The Battleteams are starting to take shape and fill with dedicated and driven members. I am eager to see how they will progress and interact with each other. The first of the Battleteam competitions will be out within the week, so if you are a BT member, keep your eyes peeled!

On the subject of Battleteams, I am going to start sparking some controversy and rivalry between them to promote a bit of competitive spirit. In the next week or so, BTs will be asked to compete for honor, pride, and bragging rights in an ongoing competition run by myself to determine just who the best is. The competitions will run monthly, alongside Current Events, and the winners will not only receive shiny new medals and awards, but the recognition of being the best of the best. Look for round 1 to start on Friday or Saturday.

Ever want to show the other clans who is the better team of fighters? Well, thanks to the Combat Master, we have a chance. The CM has directed all Clans to form an ACC team to battle against other Clans in the Deathmatch portion of the ACC. Since this here is my cup of tea directly, I have volunteered to lead you all into battle. I have no word on how large the team is allowed to be, but submit your requests to myself and Warhunter and we will take them all into consideration and announce the team when we have selected it. Now I know that we have a ton of really good combat writers here in Plagueis, so I would like to come out on top of this thing. Vess, that means you.

The Wisdom of Plagueis, as I stated in a news post, has been revised and sent to Aerick for uploading. It should be up soon. As far as the reward system that I alluded to in that news post, it has been polished up and sent over to Aerick as well. With that said, I need every Master in Plagueis to email me with how many students they have had since the merger of CSK/CEK and what they did while under your tutelage. I have decided to reward past efforts, but make it fair enough so I am making the awards retroactive to the merger. This means that several of you have already accumulated a number of points and are eligible for awards. There are also a couple of you that are eligible to be Master Fourth or Third Grade, so those will be announced as well. If for some reason you are a Master and have not had any luck with your student or you are a new Master, let me know that too. I will be including a full list of Master Awards and Levels in my report next week.

There is a somewhat updated list of Masters and Students on the site now, but it desperately needs updating. Aerick has informed me that he is hard at work on the Master/Student Relationship edit tool, so that I can go in and update the list with ease from memory. (Yes, I believe I have it almost all memorized. Yeah, I’m kinda freaky like that.) In the meantime, I’ll be writing up a ‘paper’ version and posting it to the news soon.

The following are projects that I have in mind for Clan Plagueis in the coming weeks and months:

1)Get a running start at the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy by overseeing and running ‘Obelisk-type’ competitions and events.

2)Get a ‘working’ version of the History of Clan Plagueis from Jonaleth Isradia, proofread and edit anything necessary.

3)Begin planning and coordinating a Clan Feud. (Any ideas on who? I may be making a poll out of this, so don’t email me or PM me just yet.)

4)Plan and begin running Battleteam competitions.

5)Work with Warhunter to have a fully operational competition calendar on the website so everyone knows what’s coming, including Krath MTs, Gaming Nights, DB-Wide Comps, etc.

Last but certainly not least, we have a few promotions, one in particular I just can’t stop blabbering about. I mean, it’s not everyday someone gets elevated to Elder, and certainly not on a day filled with them. Congratulations many times, Cyris, from all of us.

Doku has finally created his lightsaber and proven himself worthy to carry it, getting promoted to that plateau of Dark Jedi Knight! Congrats Doku.

Vasily took his first step on the path to Knighthood by getting promoted to Guardian!

Aabsdu is so close to his saber that he can taste it, getting elevated to Jedi Hunter.
