Consul Report

Greetings Disciples of Plagueis,

Welcome to another weekly report from the front office. It has been a week heavy with announcements and news from around the Clan and Brotherhood, so let’s get right to business.

News from Castle Frost</font size font color>

Recent word has reached this office that several sightings have been reported of our wayward Former Consul. The search is ongoing, with all Battleteams scouring the galaxy for Chi. Reports are looking up, as more and more sightings come in, so keep up your vigilance!

The Clan site is 100% complete on the admin side and reports are rolling in from all around the Clan. I have a few more proposals that I have made to the Summit and with any luck, these projects can get implemented soon. I will go over these proposals in the MSP portion of the report.

A note on Warbanners: At last check, the Herald’s office had approximately 230 Warbanners to create, not including Dark Council members. If you do not currently have a Grant of Arms on your dossier, you will have to wait for those that do for your Warbanner to be completed. Watch the Herald reports for more information.

The first round of the BT competition ends on the 11th, this coming Wednesday. No submissions for the fiction part will be accepted after Midnight, Pacific Time, August 10th. Anything submitted after that will be deleted. Trivia sheets will be distributed to the BTLs for handing out on Tuesday night. From then, your BT members have one week to fill them out and turn them in to me. In the event of a tie in the Trivia competition, the tied BTs will elect one person to answer questions about their own House members to determine a tiebreaker.

The Master/Student Program is beginning to regain its steam after being down for a bit. The first few promotion requests have come in and Trials are beginning to be reviewed. Everyone please understand that during this time that the Trial submission part of the site is down, that it takes Xen and I a bit of time to look over Trials and add comments before approval. This is usually no more than 24-48 hours at the most, so please bear with us.

As I alluded to earlier, I have a few pet projects that I have submitted to the Summit for their comment and initial approval. They are as follows:

Master Bios

With a bit of luck and Aerick’s genius, I hope to have a viewable biography for each Master within Plagueis that shows a variety of information. A sample one using Lucien as a template is below:

<font size="4" font color="purple">Krath Priest</font size font color>

Lucien Isradia

Dossier: 4792

MSP Reward Points: 30

MSP Rewards: None

Current Students: Virulence Saj Bezatyne

Langis Gyn Histop

Syrus Korodin

Past Students: None

Master: Esca Isradia

Student Accomplishments

-Virulence has risen under Lucien’s tutelage from the rank of Protector to hold the current rank of Jedi Hunter. Virulence has distinguished himself in service to his Clan by serving first as Envoy of House Bane and now as Aedile of Satal Keto, where he is quite successful.

-Langis has gained the rank of Guardian under Lucien and is currently hard in study and practice for her Jedi Hunter Trials. She has had her work featured as July’s Archive Submission of the Month, earning her a Dark Cross.

-Syrus Korodin has recently rejoined Clan Plagueis and has resumed his training under Master Lucien after a brief but fruitless exodus. He rose to the rank of Guardian before he left and is eager to return to his studies for Jedi Hunter.

Lucien’s Training Specialties

-Antei Combat Centre Training

-Fiction writing

-Run-on competitions

-Trivia

-Beginner Level JA

-Leadership qualities

Lucien is currently not accepting any more students.

With this all done and uploaded to the site, I hope to be able to have a list of Master bios so that prospective students can find a suitable Master on their own terms rather than having to ask around. They can easily find someone that can train them in the areas that interest them, thus getting the most out of their training regiment and turning them into a model Brotherhood member.

Another project I am working on with Aerick is a Trial Submission form that will allow the students to submit their trial entries to the site for grading and instantaneous submission to the Archives. Hopefully this will cut down on the number of Trial submissions that are either lost in the inbox frenzy or misplaced somehow. Each submission will be placed in the archives so that it can easily be referenced after it meets the Master’s approval.

I am also trying to create a competition submission form on the site so that all comp entries are centralized and easily accessible for grading, judging, and archiving. Our capabilities may be limited on what we can accept, but we are trying to work out the bugs.

Unfortunately, I have not received responses from all the Masters of the clan yet, so I cannot yet publish the list of rewards and levels attained to this point. Look for the complete list in next week’s report.

Only three promotions to report this week, although they are all of great interest.

Since I have known Godo Nurok, he has been nothing but the best at leading by example. He is a leader in the truest sense of the word and exudes both confidence and deference all at the same time. He is masterful at taking on everything he can and then completing everything in record time with my confidence that his work won’t have to looked over for any errors, because they are few and far between with Godo. He has a wonderful presence on IRC, an honest pleasure to have a conversation with, even about nothing in particular. Trust me, if you haven’t spent the time to talk to Godo, give him a shout one day and just shoot the breeze. This promotion is well deserved and I am proud to have Godo as one of the people that I can count on no matter what. Congratulations on Battlemaster Godo, and enjoy your Custom Saber!

The position of Envoy is something that it a near thankless job, something that very few people are willing to do. There are rarely awards given to Envoys, unless they are the best. Our Envoys here in Plagueis have received awards for their Envoy work on three occasions, and all Envoys are responsible for helping us achieve such greatness. Thran Occassus is one of these chosen few. He has performed well above my expectations at the Envoy position and continues to excel everyday. After being shuffled around from Master to Master, Thran’s promotion request was lost in the inbox of death. But, I recovered it and sent it in, for this long deserved promotion to Jedi Hunter. Congratulations Thran, and keep it up!

There are certain people that spark your immediate interest with their dedication and fast rising capabilities. They are a special breed, those that have an almost innate ability and knowledge of the Brotherhood. Famosus is one of these members. Since joining the Brotherhood a little over a month ago, Famosus has already proven himself worthy in a number of arenas and has risen quite quickly to the rank of Guardian. I expect to see many more great things from him in the future.
