Greetings my Brothers and Sisters in Darkness! This has been a good week for the House, although this is the slow season for the Brotherhood, Satal Keto is still proving to be a dominant force.

I want everyone to take a minute an d congratulate our very own Sith Battlelord Vessicant, on winning the ACC Championship Ladder competition, and earning himself the title of “Champion of the Antei Combat Center”! Congrats Vess on this truly impressive achievement.

The results for the first of Lucien’s Battleteam competitions are in, and I’m proud to say that Sergeant Doku and his Satal’s Inferno completely slaughtered the other BTs with a clean sweep of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Well done gentlemen, keep up the good work!

Warhunter’s Riddle Me This competition is in full swing, with our own GRD Vasily Zaitsev grabbing a Crescent with Topaz Star, good work Vas!

Lucien has announced the Aedile postion for House Bane is open for applications, the minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• Rank of at least Guardian

• At least 6 months in the DB, all active please.

Preferred, but not needed:

• Rank of JH or higher

• Held at least one leadership position in the DB, be it BTL, AED, etc.

The Run-On has officially begun! W00T!!!

I’m very happy with the turnout thus far, it looks like we should have no problem reaching the 50 post goal. It’s nice to see some older faces as well as some new blood come out to participate, this run-on has the potential to be really sweet, I can’t wait to see what you guys can create together. Anyone who is interested in participating can join at any time, just be sure to read ALL the posts before joining, as continuity is a big judging point.

It has been said, that due to the extreme cold of Byfrost, the only indigenous life resides underneath the vast sheets of ice covering the surface of the planet. During your daily routine in Castle Frost however, you discover an unknown species, which has been breeding in the dark recesses of the Castle for centuries.

Submit either a well done graphic of the species accompanied by a one page description, or a two page detailed description of the species and it's habits.

CP - Current Events - August 05

As a new clan forged from two different pasts, our struggle for an individual Clan identity has become our primary focus. As such, we need to fill our archives with interesting and historical data of Plagueis, its Houses, and its membership.

Disciples of Plagueis are asked to write a one and a half to two page (1.5-2 pgs) story of the recent events within and surrounding the Clan. Time Frame can be any from Braecen's and Chi-Long's leaving, to any event before August 31st. Be creative and Have Fun!!

CP Riddle Me This (ver 3.0)

In preparation for the upcoming ORoS in september, the Clan PCON has brought back his famous Riddle Me This comp to promote and test the clan's knowledge of the Obelisk Order.

For the Entire Month of August, the PCON will be releasing a total of 20 riddles one at a time to the Clan on this topic, which can be found on the IRC channel, in his Reports, or on the clan mailing list. First person to answer each riddle receives a Crescent with Quatz Star. Top 3 members at the end of the month get 3rd Level Crescents.

But thats not it, as a famous part of the Riddle Me This competition; members have a chance to beat the PCON at his own game. Submit a riddle of any Obbie or Plagueis theme and beat the PCON to earn a Legion of the Scholar.

[CP BT] How well do you know your Clanmates?

Part 2 of CP Battleteam Competition.

The Consul wants to test the knowledge of the Battleteams and how well they know their opponents. Trivia sheets will be distributed to the BTLs and they will be responsible for distribution to their teams. Graded on number of questions answered correctly overall for the entire team. Each correct answer is worth one point for the team. Overall team scores will be calculated using the following formula: Total number of points / # of BT members participating.

Awards: Points are gathered for the overall competition. No official awards given for this.

The Krath High Priestess has given the order for anyone willing to go to Duxn and retrieve this book from the tomb of Freedon Nadd. You may go by yourself or with a team of up to three people. Expect to encounter poor conditions and some uptight Jedi Knights. Bring back that book at all costs.

Every Tuesday and Thursday the DB sponsers an open gaming event in channel <font color="RED">#GMRG</FONT COLOR=RED> on the Undernet IRC Server. Platforms involved are JO/JA/Xvt/XWA/SWGB, etc. You earn a Cluster of Fire for every win and one for every three losses! This leads up to the Inter-Club Training Event (or ICTE for short), which is hosted every Saturday in <font color="RED">#outerrim</FONT COLOR=RED>. In this event you will play not only fellow DB'ers but gamers from other clubs! Also, by gaming in any of these functions, you will qualify to participate in the bi-weekly Sunday Tournament! For those of you not familiar with Allegiance, it is a space flying game that is free to download and play, that’s right FREE! Allegiance is going to be a big part of the Brotherhood, especially for you Sith out there, so I strongly encourage everyone to download it and give it a try. Simply go to freeallegiance.org Click the link on top that says Play, download the installer, install, update, play! Yes there’s an update, but it doesn’t take long. Keep your eye on the news page, as Bloodfyre announces practice matches to help get everyone used to the game. He’s also mentioned offering rewards to people that get out there and play, such as personal fighters, as well as the chance to win fighters for your Clan as well! For all of you who need some help learning the game be sure to visit the Allegiance Academy

You might often hear of it referred to as the 'ACC' for short. This is where members can participate in 'combat writing', it is a place to utilize a Character Sheet and not only role-play, but sharpen your writing skills into precise accurate slices. It is often graded on, not who lives/dies, but ingenuity, continuity, grammar and realism!

Antei Combat Center

Known as the 'SA' for short, this is the place of learning within the Dark Brotherhood. In truth, every member could learn something there. However, it is often used to teach Apprentice, Novice, and Acolyte ranks about the DB! It is the quickest way to reach the rank of Protector and begin your Trials to Knighthood!

Shadow Academy

The Clan website has a section for Member Archives, used to display the various works from the Clan’s members, for everyone to see. It is down at the moment, but will be back up soon. Anyone can submit works, of fiction or graphics, at any time. If anyone has work they would like to see placed in the archives, please send them to me, Aerick, or our Envoy Adam Anderson, and we’ll make sure to get them in there. Please send all submissions with the subject “Archive Submission[Your name here]
