Konnichiwa, meat puppets. My word, it has been a long time since the last report, hasn't it?

Don't worry, Manji has excuses- firstly he spent two weeks in Japan (what a wonderful country that is. The rest of the world needs to be just like Japan. Either that, or I'll just go and live there. The second one is probably more likely. ^_^) then he spent some more time in Ireland (including a Saturday, and so didn't have time to release a report.) Therefore, this is going to be a super-mega-hyper-bumper report! Indeed. Read onwards... and enjoy.

Now, the most important news at the moment is the currently running House Feud: Unsettled Scores. I want lots of House Marka Ragnos participation in this- let's show those pussy Sith how to PWN. So far, it's been a right shambles with Raidoner and Lucius deciding to bombard our Cathedral, and Blade deciding to hack every person in HMR to pieces. Basically, they attempted to finish the run-on off there and then. However, Manji wasn't going to allow that. Check the post where he makes Raidoner get utterly PWNed. And the post where Muz does the same. Fear the wrath of the Keibatsu. ^^ Anyway, lots of participation is required. We won the last inter-House competition, the Artisans- lets do the same for this one and ensure that HMR remains the dominant House of Naga Sadow, shall we? ^^

Other important news- unfortunately, Lech has had to step down from the position of Night Hawks Tetrarch due to illness. He'll be placed in the House, out of the Battleteam, until he returns from a roughly two-month LoA. But in the meantime, we need a Tetrarch to step up. Do you have what it takes?

More news- promotions so notable and numerous that they need to be put in here. Firstly, Thorin was raised to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight after pwning for so long, completing all his trials and generally running the CNS website. You rock, dude. Secondly, Dessan and Phantom were both raised from Dark Jedi Knight to the rank of Obelisk Templar- Phantom for her extensive work in the Star Wars Galaxies universe and Dessan for generally funding most of the Brotherhood... Where's my paycheck, dude? =P And finally, Manji got promoted to Epis. But obviously that's not important. =D

Finally, the Book of Sadow is being scrapped- and replaced by the Chronicles of Sadow and the Library of Sadow. Once Jonuss Rai gets a website up and running he will be requesting fictional submissions- anything that you'd like other members of the Clan to read. Hey, we could have a whole section detailing the backstory of the Keibatsu. That would rock. =P

Also, Manji wants to announce his Black Guard competition, since Shin'ichi must be getting bored of not having anyone to fight. ^_^ Basically, to take the Black Guard position from Shin'ichi, you need to defeat him in the Antei Combat Centre. Whoever beats him will recieve the prestige of becoming my Black Guard. Also, if more than one person (fat chance) beats Shin'ichi, I'll decide who had the better writing and is therefore worthy of guarding me. Fear.

Hmm... I was sure there was more news to put in here. Ah well. If I've missed anything feel free to slap me. ^_^

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Notable medals recently- Shin'ichi (Tharivol) obtained a Steel Cross for general graphical work and web site design. And pwning. ^_^

As for new/leaving/returning members- we've lost Jedi Hunter Storm to the unknown nether regions of space. He shall be missed. However, an old-timer has returned from the Rogues- everybody give a HUGE drunken welcome to Ghost Angel! Now, you young'uns won't remember Ghostie... she was the Quaestor when I joined HMR, just over 2 years ago. Blimey... it seemed like only yesterday. ^_^ Anyway, everybody say hello. She doesn't bite... much. =D

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Ahh... god, I hate it when I come back from a night out and my clothes/hair stink of smoke. Damn nicotine. Oh well... there ain't much you can do about it except ceremonially disembowelling the people smoking near you, and that would get gore all over your clothes. Which is probably worse. Anyway- Manji got his AS-level results in on Thursday. And guess what? All that worrying was for naught. A in English Language, A in History, A in Media Studies- and a B in English Literature. 7 marks off an A. Basically, I only didn't get an A in English Literature because the Modern Novel we studied was a pile of wank. (The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood. Do me a favour and find a copy so you can burn it =D) So I can always resit that module and have four As at AS-level. Wooo! Manji is happy. Especially since he got full marks in several modules. And he has a lurking feeling that it's all some kind of cunning scheme... he didn't really do that well, but the results people want him to think he did. Or... perhaps Manji did do really well. And perhaps he might be able to get into Cambridge? That would rock. ^_^

In Conclusion...

Work hard- but play hard also. All work and no play makes Manji a dull boy. And participate in the House Feud! Sayonara!
