Important Stuff

Konnichiwa, meat puppets. It's certainly been an eventful week. Let's get started, shall we?

Firstly, and most importantly, it's the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy (or ORoS). Everybody must participate in this. If you don't, and don't provide any explanation as to why, cue the decision of our beloved Consul and Proconsul, you will be removed from the Clan and put into the Rogues. Clan Naga Sadow is currently lagging in fourth, dangerously close to the bottom- and we're losing to Arcona, for god's sake. I don't want to lose to those inferior mortals. You don't want to lose to those inferior mortals. So get out there and show them why Clan Naga Sadow is the oldest, most powerful Clan in the Brotherhood! Any multiplayer match that you play can be reported in order to get us points- there's also a fiction event which closes on the 18th. The details for it are below:

The war has just begun. How is your character adjusting to battle? Is he or she in the trenches somewhere? Is he or she whimpering in the back? Or slaughtering things all around?

In other words: a fiction(TNR 12, 2 pages minimum, no max), with the subject being your character in this war. Entries are due Sunday the 18th. Recipients should be me, Telona, and Kaek. We will judge them on writing, creativity, originality and humor.

There- everyone can bash out a 2 page fiction and get us participation points for the ORoS. Anyone who doesn't, and doesn't submit multiplayer, will be removed. It's a necessary step if we want to salvage our reputation as a kick-ass Clan- a reputation that is currently severely in doubt.

Secondly- well, apart from the ORoS, not much to report. Kat has gone on LoA for a holiday, but she should be back soon- until then, I'll just have to cope, huh? ^^ Unfortunately, Zaknafein has requested a transfer to the Rogues- he's just finished his military training and is now in the army, so won't be able to take part in the DB for some time. Quite nobly, I think, instead of just being dead weight, he requested the transfer so as not to drag the Clan down in the ORoS. Come back as soon as you can, Zak- we'll keep your seat warm ^^ Oh, and one more thing- Muz and myself are no longer accepting 'applications' to join the Keibatsu family. Our intention is to keep it exclusive- a family of elites, almost. Just to let you know ^_^

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Medals: Guardian Daniel recieved a Dark Cross for pwnage and a Crescent with an Emerald Star for the House Feud. W00t!

Guardian Sharmin Wheyes got a Crescent with an Amethyst Star and a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for the House Feud. Yay!

Pimp Master Raistlin got a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for the House Feud and a Grand Cross of the Dark Side for his insane pwnage. Nice work, my man.

Knight Callus got a Crescent with an Emerald Star for the House Feud. Awesome!

Kat got a Crescent with a Sapphire Star and a Crescent with an Amethyst Star, also for the House Feud. Yayay!

Lucius got a Dark Cross for pwnage. Sweeeet.

And Shin'ichi got a Dark Side Scroll for submitting fiction to the Writer's Corner. Great job!

Now, promotions:

My little sis Mihoshi got promoted to Novice, then to Acolyte- keep it up ^_^

Kat got promoted to Krath Priest due to her sheer pwnage and awesome work as Aedile. Go Kat!

And one of our newest members, Siyavash, got promoted to Novice following the sheer volume of SA courses she's passed. In fact, she's probably done enough for a promotion to Acolyte by now ^_^

Siyavash passed (deep breath) the MSN Messenger, IRC Basics, IRC Operator Studies, ICQ Studies, Dark Jedi Meditation, Obelisk Core, Krath Grammar, HTML Studies, Krath Core, Krath Poetry and Krath Runon courses. Blimey... that's an impressive list =D

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Ho hum. As I've said before, I hate it when I stink of smoke after going out on a Friday night. But last night was beneficial in many ways- for one thing, this guy at my college who we've been friends with about a week came along to the Student Union we go to (they play heavy metal upstairs. Hoo-AH!) and demonstrated his sheer power and skill in death-metal screaming. It's remarkable- he managed to grunt/roar the whole of a Machinehead song. With everybody else who was dancing giving him stunned/impressed looks. I've talked to him already about being the vocalist in my band, but he agreed properly to it last night. And get this- as we were walking back to the station, some of the people in front heard him demonstrating his roar and turned round to say "Dude, your voice is amazing!" So I told the guy about how he was the vocalist in my band, P.I.C/T.A.R. Looks like we might have made a fan already- the guy and his mates pointed us out at the station, and I'm sure I heard P.I.C/T.A.R mentioned =D Amazing... we have a fan, and we haven't even recorded any songs/played together yet =D But hey- next week, I'm going to get everyone together after college so we can rock out in the college music department and/or record some music. ^_^ Manji likes thrashing.

Go and write fiction for the ORoS! Or play multiplayer! Your Clan needs YOU!
