Greetings, all!

I am glad to present my first ever report of the status of Clan Scholae Palatinae as Consul of this awesome Clan. Let's get to business, peeps.

Current Events:

• Clan-wide general activities: Besides the Obelisk RoS, there really isn't anything else as of this moment. I was supposed to update the Clan site today, but it's been delayed to my day off, which is tomorrow (Monday) as I'll then have the time to make the appropriate changes. They'll be minor updates that will reflect my appointment as Consul, as well as general Clan information (Current competitions, integrating the spoils of the last competitions into our list of possessions, etc.).

• Clan-specific activities: Two Clan-wide competitions running (One by myself, one by PCON Arania), both of which are quick and easy. Both can be found via the following URLs:

However, we want the Clan in general to concentrate on the Obelisk RoS. If you can help out in any way, please do so! =)

• General Clan Activity:
  

IRC - Some tensions due to personality conflicts, but I hope that this has been resolved. I hope. =)

Email - Same activity as normal, which means that there is all sorts of crazy stuff that's going on. =P A big shout out to my boy Korras for his help. ;)

Message board - Still slow, but it's better than it was two-three months ago, in which it was absolutely dead. I'm going to try and change this real soon, stay tuned!

• House Activity:
  

House Acclivis Draco - Solid and reliable as ever. Lots of Krathies are gearing up to help with the fiction side of the Obby RoS, and I think that the next turn will put us in conflict with Tally, which means ACC battles! They're pretty excited about that, I'm sure. ;). Also, QUA K stepped down, as he wanted to concentrate on RL stuff, and I'm glad for all of the work that he has put into the leadership for the House. In his place Mune is now directing the House, with Braecen filling in as AED. I have faith in both these peeps, and they've assured me that they'll fight to keep HAD as elite as ever. =)

House Caliburnus - Currently going through an AWOL check. Please reply back, we need to know that information for further action. Otherwise, a good show from a few folks in the House. =)

House Dorimad Sol - Standing firm, they are working hard to redeem themselves in the Obelisk RoS after our weak response for the first turn. Looks like we are starting to make a comeback, which is good. Maintaining the momentum will be hard, but I have faith in the House and the leadership abilities of the Summit. Guys and girls, you are carrying the Clan honor directly on your shoulders. For the Clan! =D

Planned Events:

• Clan Feud: Still being worked on by me (It's in my head), but plan on seeing one of these before the end of the year. Oh, and if we win, I'm trying to get us a new ship. ;)

• Clan Traditions and Customs Project: Still on-going, it's been placed on a bit of a hold since I'm still suppressing the subjects, er, I meant consolidating power, er, I meant getting used to this whole CON thing (Yeah, that sounds better!). Still, it's going to be quite a good thing for our newer members to have, and it should have something for everyone. This is a priority project for me.

• Clan Timeline Project: My newest brainstorm, but I can't reveal too much info yet. Once the above project is done, you'll get more info on this.

• Nameless project that I have been thinking about for a really long time: This was mentioned to several key persons lately, and I haven't gotten feedback on it yet. It don't matter, because I'm planning to go through with it anyway. =P It will have to wait until the Rebirth is somewhat in place (At least the list of ships and their components for yet-to-be-disclosed reasons), but it's simmering in the back of my head. In fact, the first steps to this were taken today.... No other comments on this. ;)

General RL stuff:

• Brother is getting ready for chemo pretty soon. He was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's, but the odds of him beating it are good, about 90%. I can't believe he's only 20 and he has to deal with this crap. =(

• My two boys are driving me nuts, but that's what boys do. ;) One is three and a half, the other is six months. They both want to steal my PS2 controller when I play Battlefront. =P

• Work. Nothing new for now, waiting until the beginning of the year when my division will spin off from Sprint-Nextel. Hopefully I'll (Finally) get promoted or get a job that is closer then. As is now, my daily commute combined is about two and a half hours. =(

• PSP!!!! I've already pre-ordered Battlefront II for my PS2 and my PSP. I REALLY wish that the PSP version will allow TCP/IP play via WiFi! =P

• Weight. Bleh. Trying to lose 30-40 pounds before mid-November, which is when my sister-in-law gets married. I was told a few days ago by an ex-girlfriend of mine that I was a fat ass, SO NO MORE TREATS FOR ME! I've started a workout and diet routine, and my goal is to get as ripped as I was when I left the Army. ;)
