Opening Words
Week two as Aedile. The week has been an exciting one. I have noticed that our gamers are getting CFs like there's no tomorrow and our writers are writing as if it depends on their life. That's the kind of dedication I would like to see from all members.
Competitions
As a reinforcement to last week's reminder, all competition submissions will be forwarded to [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. It is most likely that other submissions to other email addresses will be ignored.
House Exar Kun:
For those of you who bothered going back to the competition page, this one was approved when my first Aedile report came out. It is a writing competition that asks you to write about a discussion between you and me. This one is due this Monday.
Clan Plagueis:

Esca sends out a clan competition every month which asks for your opinion on Current Events and happenings in the Brotherhood.

Jedi Hunter Vasily and Jedi Hunter Thran have recently discovered Clan Plagueis' fleet of ships. They need a motto!

Each year the Obelisk High Commander Korras holds a competition to discover the best houses in the Brotherhood. More information may be found on the main website or on IRC.
September MT Poem/September MT Story
Each month Telona, the Krath High Priestess holds a competition based on a topic. I suggest you check these competitions out for easy "shineys" as the Summit likes to call them (awards).
Gaming and ICTE
Every Tuesday and Thursday the DB sponsors an open gaming event in channel #GMRG on the Undernet IRC Server. Platforms involved are JO/JA/Xvt/XWA/SWGB, etc. You earn a Cluster of Fire for every win and one for every three losses! This leads up to the Inter-Club Training Event (or ICTE for short), which is hosted every Saturday in #outerrim. In this event you will play not only fellow DB'ers but gamers from other clubs! Also, by gaming in any of these functions, you will qualify to participate in the bi-weekly Sunday Tournament! Check out the website located here.

You may have heard of this referred to as ACC. What this platform is is a way of having battles through text. This will interest a lot of you writers or non-gamers. More information may be found here.
If you would like your battles posted in my reports please send me the link to the battle and I will get it up here ASAP.
Based out of Antei, this is the Academy for new-comers to the Brotherhood or anyone interested in expanding their horizons. Do a few tests, and you will get the rank of Protector. This means that you can begin your trials of Knighthood. More information may be found here.

These two forms of communication are crucial in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Although we use Message Boards, it is preferred you use IRC (Internet Relay Chat) for THE latest updates and happenings in the Brotherhood.

Closing Words
For those of you who don't know, a lot of EH members have been entering the DB. A few examples can be found in our clan. I would like to welcome DJM Khamier Sarin and SBM Wil Striker.
Looking at Mr. Sarin's history, he was a very high-ranking official in the EH and an excellent officer.
A look at Mr. Striker's history shows that he is coming from a club that split from the EH known as the Infiltrator Wing. From what I know, that club has long died (I was in it).
If you need any help it is suggested that you ask them. They have both held positions in different clubs and it is most likely they can answer 95% of your questions.
In real life, apparently a wise guy decided to post a picture of me in the new school Year book. Not that it was a bad thing, but the caption read something like this:

Actually I come from a club called the Imperial Directorate (ID), formerly the EH Directorate, that split from the EH at the same time the now defunct Infiltrator Wing did. I am the Prime Minister (#2 guy) in the ID.
I did however join the IW a short while ago to help the IWXO, Orzon (who is also the Grand Moff of the ID), to try and get things moving again within the club. But as has already mentioned, the IW went belly up without a word from the IWCOM, Hobbie. Lets just say that one day the webpages for the IW suddenly disappeared, and no one has heard from Hobbie since then that I'm aware of. :P
The ID on the other hand is still functioning well, and is in the midst of formalizing an alliance with the DJB at this time. I've also held a number of command positions within the EH's various subgroups, including one position where I was Sarin's assistant when he was the EH's Combat Operations Officer (COO). Sarin and I have worked together before when I was a Clan CON and he was my PCON in the EH DB in Clan Arcona. ;)
