House News

Obelisk Rite of Supremacy

The overall performance of the Clan in the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy has been less than stellar. We are currently in last place by about 550 points. Now I am not without my criticism's for this competition, but I am but a mere QUA. As for the house, it has been impressive to see certain members stand out and compete. Our multiplayer skills are not among the elite of the Dark Brotherhood, but we excel in other areas. I hope to challenge another house in the DB soon to show that Satal Keto is a strong force.

AWOL Check processed

As I mentioned in the email earlier this week, our house AWOL check has finally been processed. Our clan is now at 70 members, as opposed to our previous 140+ membership. This is good for the clan because now we can strive to make a strong nucleus of members better. The house roster stands at 24 members. Now this may seem odd for some of you, but many other houses are much smaller than us. I hope to get to know more of you better now that we are smaller in numbers.

Awards

As a long standing member of the Dark Brotherhood, there is one thing that I feel that has not been stressed (at least within the Plagueis)....Awards! I really would like to have every excuse to make a few recommendations every week for good members of the house. Granted I know I can't give someone an award everytime they brown-nose, but with good activity will come good rewards. Take for example Sarin, he completed an impressive number of Shadow Academy courses last week, so I felt the need to give him a Dark Cross as a token of appreciation. I want to be able to do the same for everyone else as well. By gosh if you are spending time doing things for an online club, you at least should be rewarded for your efforts.

Fantasy Football Anyone?

Watching the games on Sunday and keeping track of my players, gave me an idea, How about I see if anyone in the House would like to play? So, if anyone is interested in participating in a fantasy football league for House Satal Keto, I could set one up. We could possibly get an official competition approved and have some medals for those that win. Email me if you are interested. I think we should have a minimum of six people. I prefer to use the Yahoo! system, but if anyone has any other ideas, they are welcomed.

Master Student List

Thanks to all of you that replied and told me you were interested in taking on a student. We have to get our current NOV's up to PRT in order for them to take on Master's. So everyone encourage the new members, and help them along if you can. When the time comes Warhunter will pair up masters with students. Website

It seems like I haven't brought up the topic of the website in quite some time. As for now I am busy with school, so I do not have much time to fuss with the site. If anyone is interested in assisting with the website, please let me know. Awards will be in order for anyone that assists with it. These are the things I am interested in accomplishing:

* Improving the look of the site  


* Getting a House History started  


* Creating short tutorials to go along with the Blade Masters section (basically a couple simple how-to FAQs for members to follow)  

Helping me with any of these things will result in you receiving an award of some kind.

Member of the Week

A week has past, and a member must be chosen. This week the award for member of the week goes to....Vasily! Vasily recently purchased Jedi Outcast and has been playing it to death. The fact that he was awarded 35 Cluster of Fires in a span of a week is incredible and considering the win/loss ratio that he had to get those medals, I for one commend him for his persistence and never say die attitude. Congrats Vasily.

* Antei Combat Center - if you are not involved with this, sign up and begin training.  Our resident trainer is Vessicant, last I checked he was running out of people to train.  


* Shadow Academy Courses - they are always there for you to do

Closing Remarks

There was a lot of activity this week, which is encouraging for any QUA. Soon the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy will be over and we will challenge another clan and show the Dark Brotherhood just how strong Satal Keto is.
