Greetings everyone, my inbox has been overflowing with emails this last week, this makes your Aedile very very happy. I couldnt be more proud of all you guys, despite our standing in the ORoS, the House is showing a lot of potential, so keep it up!
We have gained yet another member this week; I would like everyone to take a moment to welcome DJK Alex Draconis, who transferred in from the rogues. Good to have you with us Alex!

Our Consul Lucien has started a thread on the Clan MBs intended to allow you all to submit ideas for the names of each ship, if your idea gets picked, you receive a Dark Cross! You can fing the topic here
** Obelisk Rite of Supremacy **</FONT COLOR=RED>
The Obelisk High Commander has released a special event for those of you who play Allegiance, the details are as follows:
Just have at it. Deathmatch, whatever. 6 points for a win, 3 for a loss. 12 for a conquest game win, 6 for a conquest loss. This event last for two turns, after which I will reward Novas.

for the rest, same limit as with the other games: 3 matches against the same person per day, and only 3 times with the same teams.
The ACC Portion of the RoS has begun http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/dbjedi/acc/hall.asp?id=36 The Scoring rules are at the top of the Hall itself. Normal ACC rules apply with the addition of a 24hr post time limit and the selection of the venue by the OHC.

Well, in my opinion, the run-on was a huge success! The level of writing was great, and participation was impressive, it was extremely hard to judge. I finally had to do a point system, giving each post a maximum of three points for creativity, continuity, and grammar respectively. With this system, the top three participants finally emerged, and separated just enough to declare a winner. So without any more ranting, here are the results:

House Satal Keto is in need of a new look. Members of the House have been called out to design a new logo.
Unlike other graphic competitions, this one has opportunity for those that are less than able with graphics programs. Those that are able to use paint can even participate and possibly win!

3rd place for the most submissions from one member
Members are to submit their designs to Arso and Virulence at their respective emails.
Graphics can be a maximum of 800 x 600 pixels in size, and MUST be in JPEG format. Everything else goes (no porn, or stuff like that though).

As a new clan forged from two different pasts, our struggle for a individual Clan Identy has become our primary focus. As such, we need to fill our archives with interesting and historical data of Plagueis, its Houses, and its membership.
Disciples of Plagueis are asked to write a one and a half to two page (1.5-2 pgs) story of the recent events within and surrounding the Clan. This could be about any Summit changes or anything that has caught your eye. Must be an event before September 30th.

Every Tuesday and Thursday the DB sponsers an open gaming event in channel <font color="RED">#GMRG</FONT COLOR=RED> on the Undernet IRC Server. Platforms involved are JO/JA/Xvt/XWA/SWGB, etc. You earn a Cluster of Fire for every win and one for every three losses! This leads up to the Inter-Club Training Event (or ICTE for short), which is hosted every Saturday in <font color="RED">#outerrim</FONT COLOR=RED>. In this event you will play not only fellow DB'ers but gamers from other clubs! Also, by gaming in any of these functions, you will qualify to participate in the bi-weekly Sunday Tournament! You might often hear of it referred to as the 'ACC' for short. This is where members can participate in 'combat writing', it is a place to utilize a Character Sheet and not only role-play, but sharpen your writing skills into precise accurate slices. It is often graded on, not who lives/dies, but ingenuity, continuity, grammar and realism!
The September Jamboree is still going - ACCLive! games can be played Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We have no misgivings about the level of participation, 1)Live! has found a home in a niche of a few members who enjoy it, it's not everyone's thing 2) There is an RoS going on, duh :P and 3) The staff is also immersed in their own activities apart from the Centre, so availability of a Judge is pretty random.

Known as the 'SA' for short, this is the place of learning within the Dark Brotherhood. In truth, every member could learn something there. However, it is often used to teach Apprentice, Novice, and Acolyte ranks about the DB! It is the quickest way to reach the rank of Protector and begin your Trials to Knighthood!
Both the House and Clan websites have a section for Member Archives, used to display the various works from our members, for everyone to see. The Clan archives are down at the moment, but the House archives are being compiled as we speak. Anyone can submit works, of fiction or graphics, at any time. If anyone has work they would like to see placed in the archives, please send them to me or Arso, and well make sure to get them in there. Please send all submissions with the subject Archive Submission[Your name here]
Yes, we still use message boards to talk to one another, or to relate relatively involved thought that otherwise cant get broken up in the IRC channels... Definitely check it out; dont be afraid to sign up and post either! The MBs can be found here
