Current Ops

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>It's official - the position of Praetor to the Combat Master has been dissolved. In its place, the position of Deputy Combat Master (DCM) will be used. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Current Clans fighting in the ACC for the ORoS are: CSP vs TAL; TAL vs Arcona and CNS vs Arcona. In matters pertaining to the RoS and the ACC's involvement, please contact the OHC. Unless we are instructed, we do not speak for his RoS or it's existence in the Centre. Furthermore, we do not have the right to adjust any of his standards for the competition, this includes (but is not limited to): battle introductions, time limits and/or his administration of the battles. The ACC is a "place" for him to hold that portion of the RoS and we are merely "assisting" in starting battles and rating them.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The September Jamboree is still going - ACCLive! games can be played Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We have no misgivings about the level of participation, 1)Live! has found a home in a niche of a few members who enjoy it, it's not everyone's thing 2) There is an RoS going on, duh :P and 3) The staff is also immersed in their own activities apart from the Centre, so availability of a Judge is pretty random. ALL of these things will determine the level of play that ACCLive! gets - we're cool with that.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Staff

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Kat Pridemore has returned from her LoA. She will be overseeing the development of the ACCLive! system and the Judges who run it. </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The OHC has been placed as M:CM for the duration of the RoS, upon which time he'll be removed. We did not discuss his acceptance or declination of 'regular' battles while he is on the roster, made by new folks who just don't know any better. As usual, he knows how it goes and I leave those decisions to him. Should he decide to undertake a few or decline every one that comes through, it doesn't matter, he has m support either way.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Come 1 October, there will be some structural staff changes to the ACC, namely the removal of the "permanent" position of Magistrate to the Combat Master. The M:CM will act as a temporary slot for individuals running Brotherhood wide competitions and/or Vendettas - much like the OHC is doing now. The Senior Operator will also be removed as a position because, currently, it is unnecessary and serves no purpose. Any responsibility "overflow" will be picked up by myself and the DCM.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>I'm always looking for staff members, but right now my focus is on Live! - just a few more and we'll be set. Other positions, such as Trainers and Judges are always available - you just have to apply. Total coverage is my goal, and that takes numbers as well as dedicated individuals. We have a decent staff now, but there's always room for jello :)</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Coming Soon <span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: italic">(competitions 'in

the works' or just 'waiting' with no connection to Rebirth)</span>

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The 2nd CHL will start at the end of the ORoS</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- Team event in the works as a precursor to "The Derelict Code". It won't be related to the co-op, and will only be geared to get people used to writing as a team.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>- The cooperative competition has finally been given a title: "The Derelict Code"</td> </tr> <tr> <td>All is usually quiet in the Combat Centre proper, with the only signs of strife existing within the Halls themselves as battle ensues. Erupting from grudge, boredom or the need to hone skills possessed, the Centre is the home for the Brotherhood's version of the Ritual of Certamen, an ages old tradition born in the High Temple of Ferran. From the early days of the Krath Combat Centre, through the Exodus and the rebirth of the Antei Combat Centre, Combat Masters have struggled to intertwine the barely-understood technology of the Centre with the intentions of the Ritual, but some may have, ignorantly, gone too far. Never needing to fear 'real' death behind the Centre's walls, a new threat vows to change that. Having complete power over the Centre's operations, "they" begin their rampage with the hopes of extending their power beyond the walls of the Centre - even to the Dark Hall itself. Bereft of the ability to die, the origin of the threat seems to have come from...The Derelict Code.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Rebirth Aspects

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>In the coming weeks, some of the aspect changes that were going to take place post-rebirth will be addressed in the ACC. This will include changes to a few things like Force Power usage. I was going to wait until after rebirth, but then decided that combatants would be better off getting to know some of the systems now. The "new" compendium will not be going up yet, so any adjustments that require "directions" or "clarification" will be placed in the ACC section of the DB Forum.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>

Closing

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Back into the Custom Weapons stuff...again. You cannot place more than one weapon in a single custom spot on the (soon to be dead) character sheet. This includes 1 weapon that has different aspects to it - i.e. Armor with hidden rockets. Armor goes in one spot and the use of the rockets have to to in the other. Why? Because the use of an 'accessory' still has to be attributed skill points - that's why. An exception to this is a weapon whose attributes are a design of their construction, like a rifle that shoots semi and full auto, for example. You don't need to put the auto and semi in separate slots. If that same rifle is equipped with a grenade launcher, let's say, then the launcher has to be listed in the second slot because in is not a design of the "rifle's" construction - it's a secondary weapon. Of course, there is no "blanket" statement I could make that would cover all of the ridiculous BS that has come through on CS's, they are better explained on a case by case basis - which should be clear in the email that you get when your weapon is declined :)</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Have a great week!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" width="90%" bordercolorlight="#1B1B1B" bordercolordark="#000000" id="table2"> <tr> <td>DA Dalthid</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Combat Master</td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>
