Konnichi wa, meat puppets. Didn't see that coming, did ya?

It's still going on... that's right, it's Obelisk Rite of Supremacy time! Everybody in the Clan who can fight, get out and challenge an Arconan in the ACC! Or, if you don't want to challenge an Arconan, challenge anyone else in the Brotherhood- we can fight any Clan in the ACC now, I believe. But don't challenge people from Tarentum. We want to take points from them and possibly obtain second place. We can do it, people... get out there and show the rest of the DB how much we PWN. I've fought two battles in the ACC so far (won one, waiting on a judgement for the other) and I'm currently waiting for a third challenge to be accepted. If I can do it, you can- every little helps. Of course, that's not counting any of the fiction submissions- I was speaking to Korras, and apparently CNS sent in about half of the total fiction submissions. That could boost our score even further, but that's no need to get complacent. We need to keep hammering the nail into the coffins of the opposing clans until dawn rises. ^_^

In other news... the Sadow Conclave is being held tomorrow night, after the DB meeting. If you're a member of the Clan Summit, or a member of the Inner Circle, it's your duty to attend... cough Manji might have trouble making the beginning of the meeting, since he's going to be in Oxford for a university open day tomorrow, but he thinks he can make it later on. Sorry higher-up people. ^_^

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Looks like Kat pretty much covered all the medals and promotions... except for a Star of Antei, gained by Siyavash for aiding Korras in his detailing of the Obelisk Order powers. Congrats, Siyavash!

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Ho hum... people can be so stubborn. One of the guitarists in the band just quit because of several stupid things- firstly, he thinks we're not being 'heavy metal' enough despite the fact that we're covering Metallica and Pantera and the songs we've written sound pretty damn heavy metal to me. Secondly, he thinks that nobody pays attention to him despite the fact that we agreed to everything he said during a group discussion today. Thirdly, he's a gimp. Because his girlfriend is making life difficult for him, he's decided that the logical next step is to quit the band.

Ah well. According to the keyboardist (who's known him for a long time) he'll probably come back soon, and even if he doesn't, we've still got two guitarists (myself and another guy) and possibly the keyboardist if we need three guitars for a song. Then, one day, he'll be in an interview saying "I left, you know, before they became famous." =D

In Conclusion...

Go and fight in the ORos! Bring glory to Naga Sadow! Annihilate our enemies! Graaaaarggghhh!!
