Well, it's been an eventful two weeks. Many, many medals awarded- we're still coming down from the ORoS, so it's to be expected. You should all be very proud.

News- hmm. Well, first off, Manji's now a Guard Captain in the Grand Master's Royal Guard. Which means that he's going to have to divide his time even further between the ACC, the GMRG and the Clan... but fear not. Manji can take the heat. At some point I'll be looking at some new competitions and stuff for the House- including ACC Deathmatches, so look out for those.

Secondly- it's peace time at the moment, since the ORoS just finished and the next major comp is going to be the Sith War (I think) coming next year. So, for the time being, you can take a deep breath and relax. But not for too long- we're the most kick-arse house in the DB, let's keep it that way. =D

Well... looks like that's all the news for this fortnight. Everyone feel free to chill out- and prepare your blades for the next big competition >=D

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Now then. Medals:

Lucius received a Grand Cross of the Dark Side for his utter pwnage during the ORoS and his leadership of the Night Falcons. Nice work, Lucy!

Syrus received a Crescent with a Sapphire Star for second place in the 'Deep Light, Blinding Shadows' comp. Sweet!

Kat got a Dark Cross for generally rocking out and her tireless work as a motivator. Go Kat!

Phantom got a Star of Antei for her work for the Clan as well as her efforts during the ORoS. W00t!

Daniel got a Steel Cross for being a cool guy and working without expecting reward. Well, you got one. Go Dan! =D

Kreth received a Dark Cross for working with Kreth to make the Night Falcons a force to be reckoned with. Sweet!

No promotions these two weeks... just you wait. =D

And SA courses- the Leadership Studies course and the Test of Wisdom were passed by Noktar Jameki. Nice work!

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Ho hum. Well, yesterday was a great day... the day of awakening. Manji and his cohorts, the other metal gods that make up PICTAR, gathered in the music department after college and prepared to unleash oblivion. And damn, it was good. We went through 'Death In Fire' by Amon Amarth several times, and each time it rocked hard. Considering that the bassist and the drummer only heard the song on Thursday, and the other guitarist only heard it the day before that, it went damn well. We own. And since we had about 8 or 9 people watching us, it could have been called a mini-concert. Hell, I broke a pick from playing so hard. =D And afterwards, several people came up and told me how good I am on the guitar. Everyone needs to hear that at some point- so Manji is now happy in his position of metal god. Plus, the fact that I managed to pull a girl who I've fancied for ages at the Student's Union yesterday night as well simply puts the icing on the cake. ^_^ Rock on.
