Dark Greetings,

It's been an eventful few days for me as Battle Team Leaders as I've

been working with some of the senior members of the House to come up

with a new strategy and direction for Dark Fire Brigade. It has been

a great experience working through a lot of the issues that we face as

a Battle Team, and I think that what we've come up with will benefit

everyone who is involved. I'm not going to take the time to lay out

that strategy here, but if you pay attention you will see the effects

of these plans as they are put into actions.

Being as this is my first report I've tried to come up with some

sections that I think are beneficial for the members of the Battle

Team to know. This may change over time as I deem some things useful

and other things not so much. On with the show...

Overview

Usually in this section I will take the time to give a brief overview

of what's been going on in DFB over the last week. As we've been in a

state of flux this week I'll just say that a lot's been going on

behind the scenes to get things ready. Get ready for things to start

rolling and for much fun to be had.

Battle Team Competitions

Obviously, one of the key things we're going to be doing in DFB is

running competitions. These will primarily be small, quick comps so

that everyone has a chance to win Crescents and earn bragging rights.

My goal is to run at least one quick comp each week probably lasting

for two weeks. So, yes, there will be overlap. I'll keep you updated

on what's do when, so don't worry about that.

Flight Leaders

Flight Leaders in DFB are going to be a special position given to two

members who have shown dedication, activity and growth during their

time in the Battle Team. This isn't going to be an assistant position

like it is in other Houses, but more of an award to show who is

standing out above their peers. It will change when someone else

rises up and shows they deserve it or when one of the current holders

slacks off.

Conclusion

That's it this week. This report will be a lot different next week

when I have something to report on. Hopefully, we'll have some more
