SO GO PLAY!! **Tues, Thurs and Sunday Tournament in #acc.</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The Force Pool System** has been released - combatants with battles that started on or after the 1st of Nov should see an OOC in their intros. The timeouts came as they do, leaving those who want to play alive and kickin'. The Second round is almost over!</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Concerning time-outs: If you know you're going to be LoA, you need to "officially" request a battle extension, even if I know you're going to be gone. You MUST mail the CM, DCM _and your opponent with the request BEFORE your battle times out. If your opponent says "no"... tough luck, if you "forget" to send your request in time, to those mentioned... tough luck. "Acts of God" and unavoidable instances will be considered - but they will not replace poor planning on your part._</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Signups for "Cleaning The Combat Master" are open, but close today!!! Tip Of The Week

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>::Force Power Annotation::</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>The usage of Force powers is not of major concern, the flaws will always exist - but what can be fixed is the way they are written by the combatants. Often I am faced with lines like this: "JH Snuffy uses [TE] to call his sabre to his hand..." which is not the way it "should" be done. The annotations are used to 'identify' the use of a power, they are not the power themselves. To help explain that, the above example ACTUALLY reads like this: "JH Snuffy uses to call his sabre to his hand..." see? It's incomplete - uses what? Instead, it should be something like this: "JH Snuffy summoned his sabre to his hand [TE]." with that annotation at the end of the sentence (included within the period :P) in which the power is used. Basically, it's just a footnote to support the action that was written. Another example might be: "Halcyon allowed his mind to twist around the waves of the Force as they cascaded into his being [FOD]." See? the fact that he used Feed on the Dark Side [FOD] wasn't even mentioned in the sentence. It's unnecessary if you write the usage as a regular action, like it was a totally normal thing, like breathing - annotating it at the end will explain what power was just used. Anyway, just thought I'd throw you a tip this week...</td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" width="90%" bordercolorlight="#1B1B1B" bordercolordark="#000000" id="table2"> <tr> <td>DA Dalthid</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Combat Master</td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>
