General Information:
Welcome to the weekend once again, although it's almost over now. :( But as most of you know over the past week I became extremely ill with a really bad case of the flu. I woke up this morning with no remaining symptoms so I'm back at 100%. Also, last night I finally got high speed internet which brings me one step closer to playing during Gaming Nights, Sunday Tournaments, and ICTE. All I need now is a new computer (which is in the works).
Activity:
This week has been one of our better weeks for activity, and that's something that I'm very proud of. We haven't reached the mark of fifteen active people every week that the Clan Summit would like to see, but we're on our way and that's more than we could say a few weeks ago. Keep up the great work guys and gals!
I would very much like to see more people playing on Sunday Tournaments. We seem to always have at least a couple people qualified to play for the Sunday Tournament, but not very many actually participate. In order to become qualified to play on Sunday you'll have to play at least one game on one of the Gaming Nights leading up to the Sunday Tournament (which is held every other week). I'll be in #acc a lot over the course of the next few weeks, and I would very much like to see some of you come in there and give ACCLive! a chance. Play ACCLive! during the month of November and you get DOUBLE THE AWARDS! That's right! Win one game of ACCLive! and get not one, but two CF's! Likewise if you should lose two games (in one day) you will also get two CF's! This is a great way to rack up some CF's without doing a ton of work. ACCLive! is fast and easy, and a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. So come on in to #acc on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Sunday to play.
Without any further delay I'd like to get to this Report's Activity All-Star. If you've kept an eye on the Rollmaster Report over the past two weeks then it should come as no surprise who this weeks All-Star is. Since my last report he has managed to get (not necessarily in this order) a Legion of the Scholar, 10 Cluster's o' Fire, a Crescent with Sapphire Star, and 2 Crescents with Emerald Star. Not to mention the fact that he's made it to the 3rd Round of the 2nd Championship Ladder in the ACC and participated in Mission Impossible 2! Now that's a hell of a lot of activity! I'd like to congratulate Sith Warrior Warhunter Arawn Entar for becoming the Activity All-Star two reports in a row! Congratulations and expect your Crescent with Emerald Star soon!
Battleteams:
Both Nightmare and Nightshade Squadrons have seen new members over the last week. We've been asked to hold off on all competitions as we have a BIG one coming up, but I have no doubts that once the upcoming competition is over these BT's are going to be the best in the DB.
As always if you have yet to e-mail me and let me know if you play games or write I would like you to do so ASAP.
Competitions:
As I mentioned in the section above we have a HUGE competition coming up that will require the best effort of every member of our roster. I cannot go into any further details about it at this moment, but once more information becomes available you guys and gals will be the first to know. However, even with competition creation being put on hold there are still lots of options out there for you to choose from to get your activity up. If you are a gamer I would recommend The Blade of Palpatine competition that Phoenix is running. Get in contact with him for more information on the comp. If you are a writer I would recommend the Monthly Topic competitions that the Krath High Priestess is running. You can find more information on the Monthly Topics in the KHP Report.
House Issues:
R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Remember that word. It is important that no matter who you are talking to within the Dark Brotherhood you show them the respect that they deserve as a human being, and I understand completely that some people can just plain get on your nerves. That is no reason to flip out on anyone and start screaming obscenities. If you have an issue with someone you should bring it to the attention of myself and the rest of the House Summit so that we can do our best to solve the issue. Remember the Golden Rule, treat others the way you would like to be treated. And if you can't do that then you better damn well expect people to treat you like crap as well.
In Closing:
I'm very proud of the way some of you have stepped up to the plate when it was needed. If we could just get the activity spread out further that would be even better. To those of you that have recently been promoted to NOV...lets keep on those Shadow Academy exams and make it to ACO! I know you can do it, and I look forward to putting the recommendations in! Have a great week!
May Darkness Guide You,
