We've been getting plenty of new members this fortnight- so I hope everyone will join me in saying hello to Kris Omega, Rayne`Bloode, Syphoc Rilkel and Dotten the Shadow Weaver- and say welcome back to the artful Raven. ^^ A big welcome to everyone- the bar is over in the corner, pop over and order a drink on me. Only one, mind. And it'll have to be sake. ^^

In the news this fortnight- there's an Allegiance tournament on tonight and tomorrow night! All of you get out and play! Even Manji is dusting off his Allegiance and will be out there getting slaughtered, since the Clan with the most members represented will win itself a squadron of B-Wings according to Bloodfyre. Everything we add to our fleet simply adds to the ultimate pwnage of Naga Sadow- let us get out there and slay.

Also, double Cluster of Fire bonanza! Either you can participate in the ICTE this weekend and earn double the amount of Clusters of Fire you get for playing Battlefront II, or you can check into #ACC on IRC and play a couple of ACCLive! matches- double awarding is in place there as well. Yes, it's that simple- win an ACCLive! match and you get 2 CFs. Lose 2 ACCLive! matches to obtain 2 CFs. So go rake those medals in!

But yes. Other news- not a lot. Muz is back from his vacation. Yay Muz! Otherwise, things are still rolling on as usual- and Manji has a headache from not drinking enough all day. Scroll down to the Weird and Wonderful section to find out why... nark.

Medals, Promotions, Random Gubbins

Many, many, many. Firstly, medals:

Clusters of Fire were awarded to Kreth, Lucius, and Kat. W00t!

Crescents were awarded to Malisane, Raidoner and Lucius- nice work!

And finally, Shin and me got Seals of Loyalty to mark the Day of the Fox. Eep, that was a surprise. ^_^

Now, promotions: Zepthon got promoted to Novice. Way to go!

Kreth Drey got promoted to Jedi Hunter thanks to a long, convincing recommendation from Manesh. Go Kreth!

And Kris Omega was promoted to Novice. Awesome!

Now, random gubbins- Kris Omega passed the Test of Wisdom and the ACC Initiates Course. Nice work!

The Weird and Wonderful World of your Quaestor...

Now, the reason for Manji's head pain... he's spent most of the day at a Model UN conference. Now, not only was this conference begun at the ungodly hour of 8.00am, meaning that Manji had to wake up at about 7 on a [bleeeep] Saturday, it was held at the nearby Cheadle Hulme school, which is an absolute haven for posh, stuck-up, braying twits. So, the very poshness of the school pissed Manji off- and he didn't drink enough, so his head now hurts. And he's going out in about half an hour to see Saw 2. Why do I let myself in for this?

Anyway, good news is that Manji managed to sell his old BC Rich guitar, and has ordered a BC Rich Platinum Series Virgo (the 2004 model in black with scarlet bevels) from the local guitar shop. It certainly is a most wonderful instrument... mmmm. I can't wait to get my hands on it. And then, at some point after Christmas when he has much more money, Manji might even consider obtaining a Bare Knuckle Pickups "Warpig" Humbucker to replace the default BDSM humbucker in the bridge of this Virgo. Which should make it even more [bleeep] heavy than before. Oh yeah. That should make the band rock even harder (speaking of which, recording for the demo CD should begin soon, and our first gig should be sometime early next year. ^_^ And one of the vocalists has a friend who is on a record label, and he promised to pass our demo to the head of the label. Let the carnage begin. =D)

In Conclusion...

Urgh. I hate China. One of the girls representing China was so annoying I could literally have shoved a small model flag up her [censored]. But yes. ^_^ Go do stuff! Sayonara!
