Greetings Exar Kun,
Can't vouch for you guys but I have had possibly one of the worst weeks in my not so exciting life. I have of course suffered tremendously with some sort of super cold, the likes of which I have never seen before. However as I managed to claim victory over this cursed affliction I lost hearing in my left ear. A week with partial deafness was enough to convince me that losing your hearing is not what you call a picnic. I hope it never happens again!
However this is not the worst thing in my life, not even Brijha's new nickname for me "Gonky" is enough to take the title of all time grimness. No, the reason for my greatest heartache is my wife. She has fallen to the Dark Side, though you lot may know it better as World of Warcraft. This terrible crime has resulted in me being effectively banned from the main PC whilst she endulges in a bit of sword and sorcery skullduggery!
Still, least House Exar Kun moves from strength to strength. Have any of you looked at the roster lately? Bulging doesn't even remotely cut it. It is BURSTING to capacity and filled with a small army of Dark Jedi Knights. I now have enough to run my own private army and smuggle goods in and out of the Galactic Core, I shall make myself an honory Hutt and attempt to lord it over the 'little people' with Twi lek dancers in toe! Perfect.

This section is dedicated to my quite deliberate attempts to plug the Plagueis Chronicle. I confess have large numbers of shares in said newspaper and get free trips Corellia with my space mileage points. Thus here it is again!
Issue 3 of the Plagueis Chronicle is due out Christmas Eve! Needless to say it will be full of 'festive joy' and should provide us all with a bit of welcome relief from the miserable task known as Christmas shopping. Issue 2 was a huge success, despite it's sombre front page.

You don't need to be anyone special to contribute to the Plagueis Article and with enough submissions you may even get a small treat for your efforts. It is open to ALL in Clan Plagueis, and you can write about virtually anything. Its not just articles you can contribute. Maybe you have a review, music, animation, graphics or simply put anything.

I suggest you all read the descriptions very carefully before entering. As well as fiction, graphical competitions there also gaming contests that you can take part in. They support a wide range of different platforms, anything from Xwings Alliance to Jedi Acadamy. Your all free to take part and its an excellent opportunity earn something called a Cluster of Fire, a special medal for MP (multiplayer events) I believe you earn one if you get either three losses or one win. Finally there is something called the ACC, the Antei Combat Centre. In short it's a form of combat where each player takes it in turn to write what happens next in the fight between you and your opponent. A judge determines who wins based on the writing and on your character sheet. As the High Priestess reflects on the significant Dark Jedi triumphs she has decided to share some of her personal ways of remembering history past. So she got a list of some things she enjoys and sent everyone in the DB a little gift bag. Everyone opened the bag with caution and saw five items. This is the month we all remember great exterminations of Light Jedi. Celebrate! In the spirit of things I have but a few simple tasks to complete for fun. You may do one or you may do all. The more you do the better your presents might be and the more favor you will gain from me. In this bag you will find a cookie. It is most delightful to the pallet so enjoy every crumb. Inside the cookie you will find a small object. I do not remember what this object is as every cookie was as different as the object placed inside. Don't break a tooth now! Once you have enjoyed your cookie and taken a look at the object please do send me a message telling me what cookie you got, what was inside, and what you think the object does.
You may keep this small object as my gift to you but only if you contact me first. You will also find a popular game in the bag. It is actually a collection of the best Jedi killing, rebel blasting games to date. Pick out your favorite game and try to grab a screenshot of a funny opponent death. If you are not quick enough to take one you may send me an explanation of the events leading up to and through the death. I hope you have fun getting these screenshots! Next you will find a fine quill. I hope you have ink. Use this quill to explain what you do during this holiday month. How do you best remember our fine ancestors accomplishments? Fill a page or more but please don't go into so much detail as to create over five pages. Last you will find a piece of paper. Do not use this paper for your other task.
Instead, sit down and think of ten people you like and the gifts you'd give them. These may be gag gifts or real gifts. Remember that if you give gag gifts you will be equally rewarded by the receiver. If I really like your list Ill buy all those gifts! Now remember, if you contact me on any one of these four tasks you must remember to tell me your name. I cant be expected to remember everyone. A dossier number would be great as well but not necessary. Ill send you a reply as fast as I can! Now enjoy this holiday month of great Dark Jedi moments.

A 2 Page Fiction, Minimum (I will read all of it even if it is huge), on one of the proceeding pictures. I really enjoy Humerous or Funny submitions so, to please me in more ways is great. The winning Story and the next 2 Runner ups will be posted in the Winners Circle. There are 3 different Sections of Photo's. You may choose any one picture, there will be a small phrase underneith each picture. This phrase must be in the writing. If it isnt many a mark will be docked. In each Submition you should have the Number of the photo you chose (also Crutial) and your ID Line Complete with Dossier Number.

I am planning on putting up (with help, of course) a website for the Deputy Grand Masters Office. Because I have moved away from writing reports, having a place where I can post office news, put up links I think are important, and generally just make known what the heck Im doing, would be very useful. So to start this project, I will need a fancy new layout for my website. So I am going to run a competition, open to the entire DB. The winner of this competition will obviously get the crescent, and also will have a credit on my page for all eternity (and the grateful thanks of the DGM). The top 3 will be awarded crescents as per usual, and also anyone who sends in a quality submission (not just anything slapped together) will receive a lower leveled crescent as well. No real specifics on design, I want you all to be creative and do your own thing when making these. It is going to be coded with PHP and needs to work on Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Opera and that is it for requirements. Im starting this competition as of right now, and it will run for two weeks, until Saturday, December 10th.

I am sorry to report that my wife has been seduced by the Dark Side, she has been corrupted beyond all recognitition. I too have felt its dark and icey embrace and this force has a name, it is World of Warcraft. Like most corruptions it is subtle. You don't notice it twisting your soul and changing you. Indeed when I first started playing this game it was for all intensive purposes a giggle, a bit of harmless fun. But soon without realising it, it takes hold. It consumes all of your being until you left a hollow, addicted shell.
When I first started playing it was a bit of harmless fun, I would play it and marvel at the humerous cartoon graphics, the stupid statistics and the other human players that would do silly things like fart in public or beg for a single silver piece. I even admired the vast expanse of scenery, the colourful vibrant sunsets, the multicoloured towns and even the mad, frenzied auctions. But, I concluded, this was just a game, a self contained world where you could play to your hearts content. But without realising it, it had taken hold. What had been a bit of fun for the first few levels soon turned into a nightmarish spiral. One day I woke up and realised that I was no longer a level 3 undead Mage, but a level 40 character with a rotting corpse mount called Korras (best ride of my life).
Had the tale ended there, I would have felt at least a little better. But the corruption did not stop with me, it spread like some vile poison. My poor wife! She never knew what hit her. Her passing interest has developed into a full obsession, even as I type this report through bleary, bloodshot eyes she is battling her way through some remote forest with a female Paladin. Let this be a lesson to you all, on the corrupting influences of gaming in the World of Warcraft!
On a vaguely more serious note, it is true that my wife has been snared by the game. Already she plots and schemes with bars of copper to make a fast buck, and to train up her Blacksmith skills. Now if only I can convince her to give in completely and join the Dark Brotherhood? Wish me luck!
Another successful week I feel, clearly I am doing a lowsey enough job. I shall redouble my efforts! That said I had uncovered something quite disturbing. One of our former members, a loon by the name of Tarax has actually been under taking work on the side. You think I am joking? Alas not, this former evil Jedi has been undergoing quite the little PR stunt. I have photographic evidence that uncovers the full extent of this corporate sell outs crimes!
Does Tarax have no shame?
