Ektrosis Aedile Report #2

Sorry the report is a little late, I got Knights of the Old Republic 2 on wed and it’s been consuming my life ever since. Frankly, I forgot that yesterday was Friday. For the last three days I’ve either been eating, sleeping or playing KoTOR2 until the wee hours of the morning, usually around 7 am. The game kicks ass and I’m almost finished with it, but it consumed me completely and totally for the last three days.

As you may have heard, the hard drive on my laptop has gone to the big motherboard in the sky. It was working then poof, dead. I have a comp that I can use till I go back to school, but once I’m back I’ll be on semi-LoA. I’ll have access to my email through lab computers, but I won’t be on IRC at all till I get mine back. I hope to only be gone a day or two, but it all depends on how long it takes them to get my comp working again. If you need me during this time email me and I’ll be checking it at least twice a day between classes. I go back last on the 15th of January and hope to be back around the 17th or 18th. I’ll update you as I find things out.

I changed my name to Taku “Crix” Matsuki, so when you see a new name in the AED spot it’s the same guy with a new name.

Chaos said something about it last week so I won’t nag too much this week, but you need to CC Chaos and myself when you submit something to a comp. We don’t get a list of who participated in each comp, although that would be nice, so the only way we know if you did something is if you tell us. We like promoting and giving out medals, but we need to know that there’s a reason for them, if you don’t tell us that you did something then we don’t know that you need a promo. The same goes for the Trials. When you complete the requirements for the next rank send Chaos and myself an email telling us what you did. We don’t get an email from the database for a lot of the things that you need to do, like creating a history, so it’s up to you to let us know when you’ve done them. The bottom like: If you want a promo then do stuff and tell us about it.

Also, if you guys want to run a comp or two all you have to do is send Chaos and myself and email with the details and we’ll most likely approve it. You can even send us ideas for a comp and we’ll help you build it into a complete comp. I may start running small comps, like 5 question trivia in my reports, if people would like it and do the comps. So let me know if you’re interested and I’ll cook something up.
