Greetings everyone. I hope you all had a good New Year's Eve and that you've started this year off on the right foot. Time for that weekly thing called a consul report; this week has some big news.

First off, I know Frosty is due back from leave soon, but I'm going to go ahead and open applications for the Gladius Aedile position. As many of you know by now, Windos has had to step down due to real life (going into the New Zealand Air Force). If you are interested, please e-mail Frosty ( [Log in to view e-mail addresses]), Welshman ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), and myself with your application. And, by application, I mean including the big things like what you want to do in the job, any ideas for improving the house, etc. Frosty will have the biggest stay on the matter, so direct your application at him. IF you applied for the Tridens positions, the few of you that did, you can apply for the Gladius AED position as well, but you'll need to tell both Demos and Frosty which house is your priority (or withdraw your application from Tridens).

Speaking of the Tridens applications, they are still open; the Commander of the Nightstalkers and the Aedile position. At Demos' request (he wanted to get more applications than he has thus far), and with Welshman's and my approval, these positions have been opened up to the Brotherhood. We'd rather fill the positions from within the clan before selecting someone from the outside, so get those applications in if you are interested.

The clan competition is in its final planning stages. Most of the events have been planned out, the plotline is pretty much set. Welshman and I decided to do something that fit into the Star Wars storyline more than other things that have been done. We are drawing from some of the early Star Wars novels for this. I believe its been mentioned before, but there will be both writing and gaming events. There will be plenty of awards up for grabs, including some non-traditional awards (cue dramatic music so I can leave you with a cliff hanger...).

The Clan Role Playing system is nearing the beta testing phase, at least as of when I last talked to Dranik. From there, it can be opened up to the clan.

Welcome to NOV Kain, who joined us a day or two ago. Also, DJK Ixion Solaris and PRT Askimiss have transferred to the clan.

Finally, this Friday, I will be moving back to school for the next semester. Saturday I will be out of touch most of the day for certain. However, I could be out the entire weekend given that my schools' internet is always iffy at the beginning and the end of each semester.
