It is time for another Consul's report.

First off, Welshman sent a Master-Student e-mail to the clan. Make certain to e-mail him back if you want a master, want a student (DJK+), or you are already involved with the program.

The next thing I want to talk about is the clan competition. Pariticipation has been low so far, to say the least. I've got three fiction submissions and only a few gaming submissions. You have until this Friday to get scores in and the fiction entry. I will start Round Two this coming Saturday (I know this first round has been a bit long, but I'm trying to give you plenty of time to get off to a good start). My last Consul's Report, posted on the clan roster page, has the information for the events.

But, I want to know why participation has been fairly low so far? I can understand with the fiction event as it is something a little different, so maybe you just can't get a good idea. And, I do believe a few people had exams at school to worry about and some of you might not have the games, or perhaps you had trouble finding someone else in the clan to play with. I'm really grasping for answers here... [note: this is rhetorical]

There's plenty of awards up for grabs. Each event has its own crescents and then there will be overall winners at the very end who earn more crescents. Your activity in this competition will also be rewarded with merit awards (Dark Cross, Steel Cross, etc.) and promotions if your house leaders and/or the Clan Summit believe you earn it. I enjoy handing out awards and I will do so as liberally as possible. So, that's covered. All I ask is that you be as active as possible and I hope that participation picks up in the second round. The writing events will deal with your character from Round 2 through the end of the competition. There will likely be ACC stuff in the last round. The options for activity have been presented to you, so the rest is up to you.

Also, new clan trivia is out and it should be on the MBs.
